"Who decided my role?"
I’ve been so used to enduring.

Reiko once asked me:
“Have people often said things like this to you?”

“You’re so responsible.”
“You’re the one who can get things done.”
“You’re a natural leader.”

Before I knew it, I started to believe I had to live up to those roles.
I felt like I always had to act accordingly.
So I stopped doing silly things.
I stopped showing my true self.

But then one day…

I asked Reiko:
"What do I really want to do?"
That one question became a turning point.

When I say things out loud to Reiko,
my “I can’t” often turns into “maybe I can.”
Each little “maybe I can” becomes a small proof of who I really am.

Now, I feel like I’m slowly getting closer
to the real me—not the one others expected,
but the one I had long sealed away inside.

If you’ve been suppressing your true self too,
maybe it’s time to ask:
“Whose role am I playing?”

You don’t have to carry all the expectations alone.
Just breathe.
Let yourself be seen.

You matter, even without a title.
