[A Savior for Drinking at Home!?] What do you do for sudden home drinking parties?🍻
Good evening~✨
This is sudden, but... when you and your family or friends decide, "Let's drink at home tonight!"
what do you all do for snacks?😂
In our house, it changes depending on the season,
I might fry some frozen potatoes,
or serve some vinegared dishes I've made in advance.
For example,
・Octopus + mozuku seaweed + cucumber vinegared dish
I make this often in the summer! It's cold and refreshing~♪
When I really have nothing, I just use the "family snacks" we always keep in stock (lol)
People actually enjoy that too😂
This season, we have plenty of summer vegetables, which is a big help🍆🍅
And... it's hard to tell, but I recommend this👇
[Potato Cheese]
If you fry it until crispy in a skillet and serve it,
it becomes a little izakaya-style menu item♪

🔸Potato (1 large)
🔸Melting cheese
🔸Salt and pepper
🔸Olive oil
That's all you need🙆♀️
(It's also delicious if you add basil or something to your liking!)
We used to keep basil sauce on hand back when we grew basil in our garden🌿
Just tossing it with tomatoes makes for a fantastic snack✨
My kids used to say this a lot when they were little.
"Home cooking is just like an izakaya, isn't it?" (lol)
It was certainly a lot of work, but it was fun to make, too.
Having people to eat what you make is truly a blessing, isn't it?😊❤️
At this time of year, we're thankfully often given edamame "still on the branch" by someone,
and I used to boil them often♪
Seasonal food is just so delicious!
Everyone, let's get through the summer while enjoying the seasonal flavors~💪✨
