I went to Fukagawa Onsen 'Tokiwayu'.

This time, to participate in the public bath stamp rally '#Let'sBatheInShitamachi',
I visited 'Tokiwayu', which I heard was popular even in Koto Ward♨️
After crossing the bridge from Kiyosumi-shirakawa Station and heading into the residential area...
There was a very elegant, quintessential public bath building!

♨️Hot Spring
The toner and milky lotion are the best✨
and only a few are provided,
so I recommend bringing your own💦
I spent a relaxing time in the slightly warm carbonated spring (toner bath), and then entered the cloudy
silky bath (milky lotion bath). It was great, as it warmed my body perfectly and left my skin feeling smooth♨️♨️
Soft jet bath
I usually get itchy as soon as I use a jet bath,
but the bubbles hitting me in this jet bath were soft and felt comfortable☺️
(Though I stayed in longer than usual, so I ended up getting itchy anyway, haha)
70-minute limit for hot spring only
Tokiwayu has a 70-minute limit for hot spring use only, and a 2-hour limit if you pay for the sauna.
This time, my friend wasn't going to the sauna, so we only bathed, but since the staff member noted the time the locker key was handed over and returned,
women should be careful, as you need to account for hair-drying time within the 70 minutes or you might be charged an extension fee!⚠️
We also had trouble finding an open hair dryer (there are 4), and ended up returning the key with only 5 minutes to spare😮💨💦
Lounging in the rest area🍦🥛
I ended up staying for about an hour and a half😹
Because the walkway to the bath area doubles as a rest space,
it isn't very large,
but the ice cream, bottled milk, and drinks were appealing, so many people were resting there♨️

Lots of merchandise
There was a lot of merchandise displayed in the rest area, and
I was shocked that the sauna hats were 8,800 yen (lol)
A public bath that's busy even on weekdays
Even on a weekday night, it was bustling with locals and young people, which meant I couldn't easily get into the natural hot spring, but it was clear that this is a well-loved facility♨️
I'd love to try the sauna someday!
