New Story | This time it's a bromance

June is here and Paper Well 16 is approaching, so it's time for a new story.

I've written about it often in my creative progress log, but I plan to participate in the online creative event 'Paper Well 16' scheduled for 6/12 (Fri) with a new work.

I couldn't participate last time because I was tied up with other manuscripts, but I managed to find the time to join this time.
And I'm participating with a new work, too. Yay!

As written in the article title, this time I wrote a novel in the genre of 'bromance'.
I had a strong desire to read a new work of my own, specifically a bromance, so I used participating in Paper Well 16 as an excuse to write it. Hehe.

But when I opened the lid, the punchline was that it turned into some kind of incomprehensible relationship like 'something bromance-like just before it becomes a bromance'.

Huh?
That's strange, isn't it?
I thought I wrote it with the feeling of 'I'm going to pack in my interpretation of bromance!', so why did the story end before even stepping one foot into it?
Why is that?

No, seriously, what is going on?
It's a mystery even to me.
But when I re-read it, it's certainly packed with the kind of relationship between men that I like, so how strange. Creativity is unpredictable.

By the way, the main men this time have an exquisite relationship, being neither friends nor acquaintances.

And yet, they are living together from the start.
This time, it's a story about the 'relationship' of men who are living together for some reason, despite not being friends or even acquaintances.

Two men under one roof. There's no way nothing will happen... (Hold on now)

Katsuya loves these kinds of mysterious affections and bonds that are born from nameless, unnameable relationships.
It's a work packed with such favorite things, yes.

I plan to release the detailed synopsis during the novel distribution period.

Because of that, I can't talk about anything other than my detailed fetishes here yet... (Who even benefits from this info?) For now, as promotional material, I think I'll post an image I made with Novel Highlight, which I suddenly got into recently.

I tried to pack in sentences and lines from the 'crucial' scenes in the work, as well as a sentence I personally like, and turned it into an image.

I hope it serves as a reference for getting a feel for the work. (I'll put aside the question of whether it actually does.)

Oh, I forgot to write about the title.
My mistake, my mistake.

Those who read my creative progress log might know, but the title is 'The Eye of the Typhoon is Sunny'.
This time, since it's a novel packed with Katsuya's writing habits, I tried to make the title packed with writing habits too.

It's a title that's almost like a sentence, isn't it?
This is what happens when Katsuya comes up with a title without thinking.
Titles like 'Book Hall' or 'Year-End Coffee' don't come out unless I really rack my brain.

Eh? 'Herec'?
Look at the subtitle. That's everything. Haha (blank stare).

Although it's a work packed with my writing habits, I intended to create it with the hope that those who read it will enjoy it.
I hope it hits the mark for those who share the same fetishes.

A new novel packed with writing habits and fetishes. I plan to distribute it as a 16-page folded booklet.
...It might exceed 16 pages, but currently it's somehow fitting into 16 pages, so I plan for it to be 16 pages & want it to be (cold sweat).
