Criteria for following and following back on note

I believe everyone has their own criteria for
① who they choose to follow themselves, and
② what kind of person they follow back when someone follows them.

Today, I would like to introduce my own criteria.

Many of you who follow me may have already noticed this.

I read the articles of the people I follow quite diligently, and I always 'like' them after reading.

To maintain this habit, I only want to see articles from people I actually want to read on my page. Basically, I intend to read everything. Therefore, I am selective about who I follow.

With that in mind, those I follow with the highest priority are

・Those who have purchased my paid articles

(shameless plug).

If there is anyone who bought one but hasn't been followed back, please let me know...🙏

Next, those I tend to follow are

・Those who have commented on my articles

because

I am happy that they showed enough interest to put in the extra effort of commenting, and I feel I am likely to resonate with their articles as well.

However, this does not apply if the nature of the articles they write is too different from mine, or if the comments are not pleasant.

Otherwise, it is simply

・Those whose article content I can empathize with
・Those who are talented writers and post interesting content

that I follow.

I tend to follow back those who post articles in genres similar to mine, and when I go on a journey to find people to follow, I basically start with keywords.

However, as a premise, I prefer mutual follows, so if my one-sided follow lasts too long, I give up and unfollow them💦

The reason I suddenly wrote this is...

There are people who follow me, unfollow me, and then follow me again repeatedly.

I suspect they might be doing this to get me to notice them so I will follow them back.

I truly appreciate the sentiment, but as mentioned above, I am a boring person who only reads articles that fit my narrow interests and has no intention of broadening my knowledge, so I apologize.

There is absolutely no value in following me, but for those eccentric individuals who really want me to follow them back,

if you purchase a paid article, I will rush to follow you immediately! lol
