Even if I say it's connected to your future self,
it doesn't mean you'll hear a voice in your ear saying, "Buy this book."
If you pick up a book on a whim, open it to a random page, and just a few lines
really resonate with you or give you an idea💡, then it's an immediate purchase.
I don't continue reading in the store because the freshness will fade.

It's also okay if you think, "What is this content?" even though you picked it up on intuition👍
Instead of thinking, "That's strange, I was about to buy a book from a completely different field..."

Instead of searching for where things are in a store you're visiting for the first time,
go to your favorite bookstore, move smoothly to the shelves you're looking for,
and look for a book that makes a good first impression.
First impressions are important when meeting someone for the first time.
It's better to have a simple mindset to use your intuition.

Communicating with the staff is also fun
I try to talk to staff members I'm familiar with when I want to order a book or look for one in the store. When we both smile, it means we're relaxed.
To use your intuition, you need to be relaxed and excited.

Deciding on rules for purchasing

You bought a book and the content was different from what you expected.
I think there are times when you bought a book because you thought it was good after reading a few pages,
but that was the only information you could get from it.

When that happened repeatedly, the rule I decided on was
"It's fine if I can get one piece of information from one book.".
It might sound like giving up on the book, but it's not.
If I hadn't bought that book, I wouldn't have gained even that one piece of information.
And instead of reading hundreds of pages to understand that one thing,
I decided to internalize and digest that one thing.
When I do that, other related pages expand from there,
and eventually, I end up reading the whole thing.

For busy adults, I think
"skimming" or "skipping"is fine.

10 years ago, when I realized that "books connect to the future"

At the time, I was looking at my bookshelf for hints about a new study I had started,
and my eyes caught the spine of a book I had bought and just left on the shelf.
I was surprised, thinking, "Wait, why is a book with this content here?"
I had bought a book from a completely different field two years prior.
Since then, gradually,
buy -> leave unread -> need it -> thank you, past methe pace of this has increased.
Regarding the phenomenon of connecting with books, recently it has become
read -> immediate practice.It's not that there are no books you want to read,

but rather, try looking for books that you will need in the future.
