Cuteness Changes the World | Hisayo Inamori Solo Live Report
Finally, this day has arrived.
On July 20th, Hisayo Inamori—also known as Hii-chan—held her birthday solo live concert, GIRLISMIC PLOT -phase one-.
In a word, it was "the best."
"I want to make this live concert a success and move on to the next phase."
The concert was named "phase one" with that very thought in mind. I could tell from Hii-chan's daily social media updates just how much spirit she was putting into it, so I was really looking forward to it even before I went.

I have always gone to live concerts alone, but this time, I wanted to show Hii-chan a venue even more packed than before, so I asked a friend who didn't know anything about her to come with me.
"I'm always down to be showered with great singing and cute things," they said, and I am seriously grateful they agreed for that reason!
When I arrived at the venue on the day, there were already many Hii-mania (the name for Hii-chan's fans) there. They were waiting while wearing muffler towels, limited-edition scrunchies, and for the veteran fans, the "forced proselytizing goods" (*) sold at previous concerts.
*Forced proselytizing goods
: Goods that Hii-chan made in her early days. They are quite advanced-level items, featuring not only Hii-chan's face but also phrases like "My favorite is Hisayo Inamori" or large QR codes that jump to Hii-chan's official website.
While we were waiting, I tried to explain Hii-chan to my friend again, and they said,
"I didn't know what kind of live it would be, so I brought a penlight just in case, but is it not that kind of vibe?"
Are they a genius???
"I didn't really get to study up much, but I did listen to Little Blue at least."
Is she a genius??!?!
This is a live show where you wave glow sticks, and since the special guest for this concert is yui-kun, the partner from the days when Hii-chan was active under the name hie in Little Blue boX (hereinafter referred to as LitoBlu), you should definitely listen to the LitoBlu songs beforehand!!! My friend, who voluntarily did everything even though I forgot to tell them, is seriously the best. Thank you so much. You're the best. If you went that far, it's perfect.
Now all that's left is to enjoy it!
When I entered the venue, last year felt less crowded than this. It seems there were actually more people, and it was the highest attendance for a solo show to date. As someone who came with the desire to show Hii-chan a venue full of people, my tear ducts were already in trouble at this point (too early).
Then the first song began, "Tsuki ga Kirei na Yoru Dakara" (Because it's a night with a beautiful moon).
I was already done for (breakdown). What is this? Is it deep emotion...? My chest felt so full that I was about to cry. But I wanted to burn Hii-chan's image into my eyes, so I somehow held back my tears and stared at the stage.
The next number was the recently released new song "KAWAII HACK".
And then, "KAWAII BASE".
Sigh... she's just so cute. Seeing Hii-chan perform with a beaming smile made the corners of my mouth lift up too. By the time the three songs were over, I found myself smiling rather than crying.
Hii-chan often writes her own lyrics, and the consistent message is "Love yourself as you are now."
Whether it's about personal color or age, people around you say various things, and you think about them yourself, but
"I am me" "It's wonderful to pursue what you love"
—Hii-chan always delivers messages like that.
People often comment on my articles saying, "It's wonderful that you can say you like what you like," or "You have a strong core," and that is undoubtedly due to Hii-chan's influence.
The words Hii-chan said during the MC, "I was scared of turning 30. I thought my value might go down or my work might decrease. But you know, I'm having so much fun right now," left a deep impression on me.
I, too, enjoy being in my late 20s now, but until recently, I took the sound of "late 20s" negatively. I think everyone has thought at least once, "Doing this at my age..." or "I have to do this because I'm in my late 20s..." This isn't limited to being in your late 20s; you can replace it with various words, like "because I'm a mother" or "because I'm a working professional." If there is anyone who feels bound by their own "labels," I definitely want you to listen to Hii-chan's songs once. You should be able to think, "It's okay to be myself as I am," and "It's okay to enjoy the present more."
In the second half of the live show, yui-kun, her partner from the LitoBlu era, appeared, and the venue became even more excited.
While Hii-chan's "kawaii" side is at the forefront during her solo songs, her Little Blue mode also possesses a "coolness." This gap is, once again, irresistible.
Since yui-kun was appearing as a guest at this live show, there were many fans from her Little Blue era present.
The musical style of Little Blue is also very much about vertical movement—the kind that makes you want to shake your head (yui-kun was shaking his head so much... the gap between that and his quiet MC was insane...)—and because it's easy to get excited to, it was incredibly fun.
While I felt happy and joyful, I also thought that I want people to know more and more aboutHisayo Inamori, not just hie from Little Blue.
I hope this live show becomes one of the triggers for that.
I say something similar every time, but this live show was also truly, truly packed with Hii-chan's charm, and it was the best. I bathed in so much "kawaii" and received so much positive energy.
Hii-chan said, "I'd be happy if there were people who look at me and think they want to do their best," but at the very least, I am always thinking that. Thank you so much.
I wanted to tell Hii-chan that at the cheki session, but there wasn't enough time to talk this time (and even if there was, I might have started crying again the moment I opened my mouth), and on top of that, I failed to even write a letter, so I decided to write it in this article instead.
Once again, congratulations on holding your solo live show, Hii-chan.
Thank you for giving me so much energy.
"Kawaii changes the world"—watching Hii-chan, I truly believe that.
Also, I was happy you noticed my CANDiDE outfit (the same one as yours, just a different color)! I sincerely respect that about you.
Thank you so much for always caring about your fans—your Hii-maniacs.
I love Hii-chan, who is always straightforward and gives her all.
And,
Happy Birthday!!!
I will write a letter with all my heart another time♡
So,I'll be waiting for that next opportunity!!!

Exuding Heisei vibes
I tried to write down the setlist for the day as best as I could remember, but since I was crying on and off, my memory might be hazy and incorrect. I'm sorry.
