A Movement Born from a Tweet
Since it was difficult to write in the 'plain style' given the content, I'll try writing in the 'polite style' today.
I posted a tweet like this the other day.
Actually, I was planning to delete this right away.
I thought my tweet would just get buried quickly, but since it was for 'Nan no Hanashi desu ka' (What are you talking about?), I felt it was only right to report it to Konishi-san, the organizer, so I at least added the #NanNoHanashiDesuKa tag.
Then, as expected, Konishi-san picked it up and introduced it in this week's newsletter.
Since it's featured in the newsletter, I thought I'd leave it up for a week...
I was feeling that way, but today, Itsuki-san, who always helps me out with wonderful cheering posts and such, wrote this article.
I saw that our neighborhood note-er, Rii-san, created a magazine compiling her own 'Nan no Hanashi desu ka' articles...
I thought, what a super nice idea!🥳
Oh man, I'm just too happy...!
If you write something like this for me, I can't delete the tweet anymore...!
I was so happy that I ate a Nana-chiki, even though I'm on a diet. The Red one.

Forget about my article, I want you to read Itsuki-san's article. Because she says everything I want to say...
Magazine information from everyone in the back alley is gradually being posted in the comments section too, so please take a look at those as well as the articles.
[Update]
Itsuki-san, who is so quick at her work, was already collecting everyone's magazines while writing this article. Truly impressive 😂
I created my own back-alley magazine partly because I received the notice about collection from Konishi-san, but also because my own note is just too messy.
I write whatever comes to mind because I want to keep a record of everything I feel, think, and get hooked on at that moment, so my note is already a total mess.
I suddenly start pondering things, and suddenly start talking about Ultraman.
So, even if you follow me,I'm not interested in that story of yoursI think there are many people who would feel that way.
But I am who I am, including all of that, and I write with the hope thatpeople might find such a chaotic version of me interestingorthat at least one thing might resonate with someoneso I don't think narrowing down the genre is the right thing for me.
That is why I felt that in order to maintain my current style, a magazine where people can choose and read only the genres they are interested in from my articles was essential.
This back-alley magazine is part of that effort.
I actually thought about waiting until I had a few more articles saved up, but because of what I mentioned above, I moved the schedule up a bit.
Still, I am honestly surprised myself that there are already 17 articles.
While I said it was for my own sake, I also had a tiny hope that everyone in the back alley might create their own magazines too.
But I thought I didn't have the influence to broadcast such a thing, and I wasn't a big enough presence to raise my voice... just as I was thinking that, Itsuki-san picked up on it, and the people in the back alley responded to Itsuki-san's call.
I could never have started a movement like this on my own. I believe it was because Itsuki-san is loved and admired by so many people that the message reached so many others.
Itsuki-san, thank you so much for picking up my whisper, which was like it was in the very, very, very corner of the back alley of note, and for spreading it throughout the back alley...!
And to those who found their way to my articles from Itsuki-san's page, thank you...!
Really, the back alley is so warm, isn't it?
My first 'What are you talking about' article is this one, which I have also pinned↓
As you can (probably) tell if you read it, Rii is an overwhelmingly introverted person. I wandered into the back alley with this article that exploded with introversion.
Since it's called a back alley, I thought it would be a dim place, so I wandered in, but once I slipped inside,it's incredibly sunny. That was my first impression.
So, at first, I was a little confused, wondering if I was in the wrong place...
But, the number of people who find my 'What are you talking about' posts interesting has been increasing little by little, and I've come to feel that this is a place where I can belong, and articles piled up in the blink of an eye, enough to make a magazine viable.
I truly feel glad that I was able to find a place to belong called the back alley.
As mentioned above, since this is a rambling note that I write with the policy of writing what I think when I think it, about what I like when I like, and however I like—whether it's 'What are you talking about' or not—I would be very happy if you just followed the magazine.
'Rii of the Back Alley' will likely be updated about once or twice a week. Please treat me kindly.
I'm going to keep on doing this freely and as I please from now on!
