How to Create Your Own Wallet (MetaMask)

This guide explains how to create a wallet using MetaMask.
The process is almost the same on smartphones, so you can use this as a reference.

◆ Access MetaMask: https://metamask.io/
-1- Click “Get MetaMask”

-2- Select the browser you are using, such as Chrome or Edge

-3- (A new tab will open) Click “Add to Chrome”

-4- Click “Add Extension” (after a short time, a new tab will open)

-5- Click “Create a New Wallet”

-6- Click “Use Secret Recovery Phrase”

◆ Create Password
-1- Create a password for accessing MetaMask on your current device

-2- Enter your password and click “Create Password”

◆ Secret Recovery Phrase
-1- Click “Tap to Reveal”

-2- This is your Secret Recovery Phrase.Never share it with anyone.

-3- Click “Continue”

△ Important: What is a Secret Recovery Phrase?
A Secret Recovery Phrase is a series of words that allows access to and management of your cryptocurrency wallet. It is also called a Seed Phrase or Mnemonic Phrase.You will need this phrase if you want to restore or import your wallet into MetaMask.
Anyone who has your Secret Recovery Phrase can:
・Steal all of your assets
・Approve transactions
・Change your login information

▶ Required when accessing MetaMask from another device if your PC is damaged or unusable
★ You may write it down on paper or save it in a memo or image file, but it is strongly recommended to store it on an offline PC, USB device, or another secure offline location.

-4- Select the missing words in the correct order.

-7- Review the information and check the box if you agree (optional), then click “Continue”

◆ Wallet display
-1- The “Your Wallet is Ready” screen will appear

(Default privacy settings can be changed if desired)

-2- Click “Open Wallet”

-3- Your wallet will now be displayed.
The space on the right side shows the status and contents of your wallet.

-4- To log out, click the three-line menu in the upper-right corner and select “Log Out”(Closing the browser will also log you out)

-5- To log in again, click the Extensions icon in the upper-right corner of your browser, then click “MetaMask”
