冬季オリンピックとは

2026年2月6日から22日まで、第25回オリンピック冬季競技大会がイタリア北部の都市ミラノとコルティナ・ダンペッツォで開催されます。イタリアではこれまでに冬季オリンピックが2度開催されており、コルティナ1956冬季大会からは70年ぶり、トリノ2006冬季大会から20年ぶりの開催で、ミラノでは夏冬通して初めてのオリンピックとなります。8競技116種目が実施され、冬季競技のアスリートたちが熱戦を繰り広げます。

The 25th Olympic Winter Games will be held in the northern Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo from February 6th to 22nd, 2026. Italy has hosted the Winter Olympics twice before, 70 years after the 1956 Winter Games in Cortina and 20 years after the 2006 Winter Games in Turin, but this will be Milan's first time hosting both the Summer and Winter Olympics. A total of 116 events in eight sports will be held, with athletes competing in fierce competition.
