　６月１１日にデビュー２９周年を迎えたボーカル＆パフォーマンスグループ・ＤＡ　ＰＵＭＰがこのほど、デイリースポーツなどの取材に応じ、８月８日の埼玉・戸田市文化会館を皮切りに行われるツアーへの意気込みや、来年の３０周年を含めた今後の構想などを語った。

Da PUMP, the vocal and performance group that celebrated their 29th anniversary on June 11th, recently spoke to Daily Sports and other media outlets about their enthusiasm for their tour, which will begin on August 8th at the Toda City Cultural Hall in Saitama, and their plans for the future, including their 30th anniversary next year.

　１９９７年にＩＳＳＡら沖縄出身の４人でデビュー。２００８年に現メンバーが加入し、０９年には「Ｕ．Ｓ．Ａ」が大ヒット。その後はメンバーの変遷を経て、２１年に現在の６人体制となった。２９年間の歴史を知るＩＳＳＡは「一番は感謝。ファンのみなさま、自分の家族や仲間、そういう人たちがいての２９年、そして３０年への道のり」と感謝を語る。

The group debuted in 1997 with four members from Okinawa, including ISSA. The current members joined in 2008, and in 2009, their song "U.S.A." became a huge hit. After some changes in the lineup, the group became the current six-member group in 2021. ISSA, who has witnessed the group's 29-year history, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Above all, I am grateful. It is because of our fans, my family and friends that we have been able to reach these 29 years and move towards 30 years."
