Sawabe (40), of the comedy duo Haraichi, received the 45th "Best Father Yellow Ribbon Award" in the entertainment category. He attended the awards ceremony held in Tokyo on the 3rd.

The reason for his selection was: "He will rank first in the 'Talent Program Appearance Ranking' with 578 television appearances in 2024, and despite his busy schedule, he is a best father who cherishes his family, always attending milestones such as the births of his three children and their school entrance ceremonies."

"Yes! I did it! I did it!" He candidly admitted that the segment "The Road to the Best Father Award" on the Fuji TV program "Pokapoka" "wasn't really relevant," drawing laughter. He really wanted to win the "Best Father Award." He had been using the "Best Father Award" as a running gag. He said he had already said countless times on TV and radio, "Give me the Best Father Award!" because it was a hit.

He candidly admitted that the segment "The Road to the Best Father Award" on the Fuji TV show "Pokapoka" "wasn't really relevant," drawing laughter from the audience. "I'd been using the 'Best Father Award' up to this point. It was a joke, so I'd said it over and over on TV and radio, 'Give it to me, the Best Father Award!' When I was saying 'Give it to me,' I wasn't looking people in the eye anymore. I was heading down the wrong path."
