The Day My Mind Went Blank | Grateful for a Connection That Started with a Like
Hello, I am Dekoboko Obaba.
How do you react when something unexpectedly happy happens to you?
Some people jump for joy.
Some people let out a shout.
Some people pump their fists in the air.
In my case—
my mind went completely blank (lol).
Today, I want to share the story of that event.
I have never seen a notification like this before

The other day, when I opened note, I saw a notification I wasn't used to seeing.
“Congratulations!”
I wondered what it was about and read on, and
it said, “You have received your first tip on your article!”
it was written.
Huh?
A tip?
For me?
I stared at the screen for a while, completely frozen.
No matter how many times I read it, it says the same thing.
It seems I didn't misread it.
But even though I should have been happy, the first thing that came to mind wasn't a word of joy, but
"How should I react to this?"
that was it.
I thought it was something that had nothing to do with me.
I knew that note had a tipping system.
But honestly,
"That's a story for special people."
I had that feeling somewhere inside me.
That's why, when the notification suddenly arrived, surprise came before happiness.
It was as if time in my head had stopped the moment I saw the notification.
The person who gave me the tip was...

The person who gave me the tip was someone who always watches over me warmly.
They have introduced my articles,
given me likes,
and left comments.
I am the one who receives so much energy from them.
Not only did they give me a tip, but they also included this message.
Thank you always for your wonderful articles and warm comments✨
The moment I read those words,
a wave of joy and gratitude washed over me.
It is actually I who want to say, "Thank you."
Connections that started with a Like
Actually, the reason I received a tip this time was for
"I realized I had pressed Like 10,000 times"
the article titled that.
Since I started on note, I have read many people's articles, pressed Like, and written comments.
Of course, I wasn't expecting anything from the beginning.
I just,
"I read your article"
"I resonated with this"
I just wanted to convey those feelings.
But looking back, those small, accumulated actions led to so many connections.
And this time, by receiving a tip on that article,
"The connections I've made on note are truly reaching people"
I felt that, and my heart was full.
A gift that cannot be expressed in numbers
I was happy about the tip itself, but
What made me happier than anything else was
"I'm always watching your posts."
being able to receive that sentiment.
The likes.
The comments.
The sharing of my articles.
And this tip as well.
I felt once again that all of these things have value far beyond just the numbers.
In closing
The moment I saw the notification, my mind truly went blank.
But now, even that moment of blankness has become an unforgettable memory.
I'm glad I started note.
I'm glad I kept writing articles.
And above all, I'm glad I was able to meet so many people.
It was an event that made me feel that way.
Moving forward, I hope to continue cherishing each and every connection through likes and comments, and keep building warm relationships in the world of note.
To everyone who always reads my work, thank you so much.
