[Continued] 80 Yen Daily Wage. Big Brother's Pokemon Savings Mission
Hello.
It has been 10 days since my eldest son, Nohohon-niisan, started his part-time job life.
So, how is it going?
Is he successfully saving money while doing the calculations?
Conclusion! He is keeping it up properly!!
We calculated it together yesterday, and it has reached 800 yen✨
It also happened to be the time he was learning about the 'hundreds place' in math at school, so
I think it's great that he's able to experience money calculations in real life.
Nohohon-niisan is basically a serious person by nature.
As long as he is personally convinced of the reason, he won't
give up halfway through.
Since Nohohon-boy can be a bit of a scatterbrain, it's not that he lacks motivation or doesn't want to do it,
but there are many times when he simply forgets,
so if I just ask him,
'Did you do your job?'
he says,
'Oh, whoops~~~~'
and he gets to work without complaining😊
Two or three days ago, it was raining, so I thought watering wasn't necessary, andI didn't say anything to him. Then,
At night, after it got dark,
"Ah! Oh no!"
Since he was saying it quite loudly, when I asked,
"I forgot to water the plants! You should have told me~" he said.
😑
"Um... it was raining all day today, though...?"
"What does that have to do with anything!!!"
"Are you supposed to hold an umbrella and water the plants in the rain?!"
💡
"Don't you want it!!"
I almost said, "Why don't you think about it a little!" but I decided to let him realize it on his own at the last second. lol
"Yay, lucky!!" he said.
I realized as a mother that my judgment was a bit off, as including watering the plants in his chores during the rainy season was a bit of a mistake.
My reading was a bit naive.
"Well then, you didn't do all the chores today, so that's 40 yen!"
When I said that,
"No way! I won't have enough to buy Pokemon!!!"
Big Brother realized it instantly.
He doesn't seem to have forgotten his goal.
"Work, save money, and buy the Pokemon game"
I was relieved that he hadn't forgotten.
Still only one-fifth of the way there.
The road to catching Pokemon continues.
My mother just...
wishes for the rainy season to end soon so that he can work every day.
