Things I want to do in 2025

Hello, this is Rcat.
I know I've already posted an article, but since it's officially 2025 now, I'd like to write about how I want to spend this year.

Things I did in 2024

As a way to look back, I'd like to start by writing about what I did last year.

Released over 10 software projects on note

If this isn't your first time reading my articles,I'm sure you've seen the projects I've created somewhere. In 2024, I released over 10 projects, big and small
(I can't count them exactly because of updates, etc.).That's a pace of making something almostonce a month.I wonder if I really made that much, but when I look back at note, they're all there... It was a year full of ideas.

I made a fully automated narration dubbing tool...

I made a system that automatically analyzes social media information.

I made a game server management tool & Discord BOT.

I made a tool to add watermarks to images.

I tried making a LINE BOT.

I made a BOT that works with AI to carry out instructions.

I don't know what I was thinking, but I made an Android app.

I refactored a port forwarding tool.

I made a system for Linux that uses tethering for specific IP addresses.

I made a tool to turn screen recordings into GIFs.

I've omitted some similar ones, but it's surprising how many come up when I list them like this...

Acquiring software-related certifications

I write mostly about programming on note, butmy actual profession is in mechanical engineering,so I don't have any software-related certifications at all. Last year saw the adoption and evolution of generative AI in various fields, and I started to wonder if I shouldn't be riding this wave. Actually, I'm doing various things in my private time because I want to ride it. Fortunately, it didn't seem impossible to take on the challenge given my environment, so I'm thinking about whether I can change jobs while acquiring certifications. For now, I managed to get 3 certifications last year.

  • IT Passport

  • Python 3 Certified Engineer Basic Examination

  • Python 3 Certified Practical Engineer Examination

I recently wrote an article about the last one.

Well, like this, while maintaining my main job, I have been steadily preparing the groundwork for software-related things.

Things I want to do this year

Now, the introduction has been long, but let's talk about what I want to do this year. For now, the things I wanted to do are finished (things I left undone? I don't know them), so I am currently almost in a free state. So, let's set some new goals.
Honestly,
I am terrible at making plans,so talking about the future is nothing but a risk, but well, if I fail, I'll just delete this article... lol.

I want to make an AI

Yes. AI. I am thinking that Iwant to make an AI.People who read all my articles might already know...

As for the schedule, I haven't really thought about it yet...
For now,I think I'll aim for the G-Certification since I need to know the basics of AI (it's also encouraged at my company).
After that, I intend to focus on deep learning and reinforcement learning.
I consulted with ChatGPT while dabbling a little bit, and it determined that I would need to learn these two things. That might change once I actually acquire the knowledge, though.

However... Rcat is really bad at math. I don't remember calculus or anything like that... It will be interesting to see if I give up halfway or if I can work hard for the sake of what I want to do.

So,I think this year's note will mainly be about outputting AI-related content while still posting idea-based projects, provided I haven't given up.

What about electronics and 3D printers?

I will basically switch to a stance ofdoing it if necessary. It's like,
if I want a system that requires physical action, I'll do electronics.

As for what I did this year, maybe the turbofan?
But a problem occurred beyond that, so it's frozen... lol. I might resume it if I get the physical motivation.

Also, I didn't write about it because it wasn't content for an article, but at the end of the year, I broke a piece of furniture older than me, so I remade the parts with a 3D printer.
I guess I'll keep doing things bit by bit like this.

That's all for what I want to do this year.
I want to maintain a pace of at least one post per month on note in the future. Although there are times when I'm crazy and post three times a week...

If you have any questions or advice, please feel free to share them, provided they are useful.
