And since this was an audience chamber, it goes without saying that the person present was none other than Her Majesty the Queen. Despite her youth, she sat upon the throne facing Watria with a dignity befitting the leader of a nation.

Her Majesty wore a calm, pure white dress, her rich ash-silver hair styled in a chignon at the back of her head, and her beautiful sky-blue eyes were filled with great sorrow as she gazed at Watria... no, her gaze was clearly fixed on me through the glasses.

To the Queen's left stood a female guard knight in pale silver armor with her gold-threaded hair in braids, and to her right stood a minister in high-collared, flashy red attire who looked like a confident man making no attempt to hide his obsequious expression. However, there was no one else in the audience chamber besides them.

“Y-Your Majesty, I hope this finds you in good health...!”

Watria, who surely never expected to have an audience, looked even more stiff and frozen than when we first met, poor thing. Just as he was about to deliver a grand greeting, he was interrupted by the obsequious minister.

“Oh, was it Watria? You don't need to be so stiff. Besides Her Majesty, there's only that stiff-headed knight and me here. Hahaha.”
“Ilgis! As always, such behavior in front of Her Majesty is...!”
