What I can do even in an environment where I cannot keep pets. One form of support I have continued for 10 years
Hello! This is Jade! 😎✨
Thank you so much for the many reactions the other day!
I would like to thank those who shared it once again.
Seeing the news about the Kumamoto earthquake, I thought once again about the support I can provide myself.
The thing is, when I lived at my parents' house, I had a dog 🐶.

Please also take a look at this article as well 😊
🌸 I also wrote about 'Sakura ears'.
I love pets, you know 😊
But there are not a few cases in the world where they are put down 😭
Although it is unavoidable, I wanted to find something I could do.
My current residence is an apartment where pets are prohibited, so I cannot keep one.
I thought about moving, but...
I am single and I am often away from home for work, so it is an environment with challenges for taking care of a pet...
But while wondering if there was something I could do, I ended up seeing an advertisement on the internet.
About 10 years ago, I decided that even if I couldn't take care of animals myself, I would support those who do.
I donate several tens of thousands of yen every month and do not hesitate to provide additional support when emergency aid is needed.
They aim for 'zero culling,' finding foster homes for rescued dogs and cats, training rescue dogs, and exploring second 'dog lives' and 'cat lives' through therapy work and more.
It is not just this organization; there are many similar organizations in the world.
They have also been deployed with rescue dogs during the recent earthquake in Kumamoto.
Even if I cannot go to the site as a volunteer, the monthly support I continue to provide is connected, even if indirectly, to these emergency rescue activities and the protection of animals affected by disasters on the ground.
I was reminded of that once again.

Some might think my activity is 'just donating, that's all.'
It may be a small form of support, but by providing at least some indirect help, it contributes to 'reducing the culling of dogs and cats' and providing them with a 'second life.'
Everyone has their own environment and circumstances.
Even if you cannot go volunteer or welcome a pet into your home right now, you can support activities on the front lines through 'donations.'
I have no intention of forcing this on anyone, but I would be happy if this article reached a corner of the hearts of those who read it, showing that 'there is this kind of support and way to get involved.'
The weight of a life should be the same. Doing what you can within your means is enough.

I sincerely hope that a happy life is equally granted to every life born into this world.
I would be happy if this article could be some kind of catalyst for you all!
