3-Day Trip|Shinkansen and Car|Kyushu Part 2
Thank you for reading among the many notes available.
My name is Ahiru.
This note is a laid-back space where I write loosely about my experiences and things I want to do in the future.
This is the second day of my Kyushu trip.
After fully enjoying Nagasaki, I returned to Fukuoka and enjoyed things like street food stalls.
Nagasaki Chinatown
When you think of Chinatown, you think of Yokohama, Kobe, and Nagasaki. Since I was there, I decided to go.
I've been there a few times, but it's compact(?) and easy to get around, which is nice.
I went into a Chinese restaurant and ordered Sara Udon, but the staff member served what I ordered to a different customer.
The staff member realized it before that customer ate it and brought it over to me, but it already had sauce on it, so I was like, 'Oh come on.'
It was a hassle to say anything, and since they hadn't touched it yet, I just decided to let it go and ate it as is.
I probably won't go there again.
I'm a vinegar person when it comes to Sara Udon, though. I poured extra vinegar on it to mask the taste of the sauce and ate it.
That's a slightly sour memory. Pun intended (shut up).
Back in Fukuoka
After arriving in Fukuoka and returning the rental car, I strolled through the streets of Hakata.
My goal was to eat at the street food stalls and see the Gekidan Anmitsu Hime troupe.
There was a Kirby Cafe nearby, so I went in and happened to be seated right away.
What a cute space filled with Kirby and Waddle Dees...
The good thing about weekdays is that the shops are empty.
I relaxed for a bit and then headed to the street food stalls.
Time for street food
My first time at a street food stall!
When the time came, stalls started popping up one after another, and I had so many to choose from.

Actually, I ate a lot more and drank alcohol too, but these were the only photos I had.
I think I went to about three places. Everywhere was delicious.
I don't have a photo, but the gyoza and alcohol went so well together.
To Anmitsu Hime
It was my boyfriend who said he wanted to see Anmitsu Hime.
When I first heard it, I thought it was a TV drama, but it wasn't.
That was the thinking of a true old-timer from the early Heisei era.
It seems to be an entertainment theater where you can enjoy shows, skits, and dancing.
Some of the cast members are drag queens, so I thought it sounded fun.
I've always wanted to go to a drag queen bar and had this strange wish to be told, 'You're ugly,' so I thought if they said it here, I'd be satisfied.
There was time before the show started, and they went around talking to each customer, asking where they were from and so on.
Unfortunately(?), I didn't get the 'You're ugly' comment, but since I'm the type who laughs loudly, they did say, 'She has quite a laugh, doesn't she?'
Thank you for that time. (?)
I think it was about a two-hour show.
The satisfaction level was so high that I want to go again.
By the way, the street where Gekidan Anmitsu Hime is located is commonly known as Oyafuko-dori.
If you have plans to travel to Fukuoka, you should definitely check it out.
