Introduction
For the first time in a while, I would like to share a bit of my daily life
through a 20-character novel!
In other articles, I have declared,
I am starting a new life this spring!
In today's article,
I would like to express the scene of my first day
taking on that new challenge in 20 characters✨
If you would like,
please stay with me until the end.
20-Character Novel
Title: This Spring, I Tried a New Challenge
A crowd rushing by at high speed. Only I am a still image.
(20 characters)
On the first day, one tends to feel a bit isolated
The other day, I went to my first day of work
at the place where I will be working this fiscal year.
But, isn't the first day of the new fiscal year,
usually a time when the whole workplace is busy?
There are personnel changes,
tasks that must be done at the turn of the fiscal year,
and for various reasons for everyone,
there is a hectic atmosphere in the air.
I am the type who watches others,
and gradually decides how to handle myself,
so I am the type who cannot move on the first day.
From an observer's perspective,
I might be seen as lacking initiative,
but I cannot act without carefully observing how people work,
so I have given up on that evaluation. (lol)
Also, I don't really want to
put my past experiences
at the forefront.
I think I have worked reasonably well,
and in a sense, I think I have had experiences
that are quite rare,
but I don't know if those experiences will be accepted in a new place... (timidly)
But a year goes by so fast,
and just when I get used to it, the next one begins.💦
I think this personality trait is a disadvantage...
Because I am like that, I don't think I am naturally suited
for jobs that are divided by fiscal years,
but unfortunately, the job I am challenging this time
only came in that form...
Knowing my own unsuitability, I headed in,
and my state on the first day of the new workplace
was what I expressed in 20 characters this time:
“A large crowd crossing at high speed. Only I am a still image.”
Even though time was certainly moving,
and the people in front of me were moving at quite a speed,
I felt like I was the only one standing still,
all by myself.
I describe that moment as a still image.
(You can probably tell just by reading it without me explaining every detail. lol)
I felt like I was the only one being left behind,
that was my state of mind on the first day.
But I will do what needs to be done.
Of course, I have to do what I need to do,
and while I sense that it will be busy...
I will muster the courage to ask about things
that I cannot move forward without knowing (naturally).
I went there, and there were many things
I learned and understood
that day.
But how I adjust my course from there
is also my own problem,
so while thinking about how I want to be next spring,
I want to cherish each day and learn.
To make my own choices the right ones,
I will build things up one by one.
In conclusion
Due to the nature of my work, there is a lot I cannot write about in detail,
which is very frustrating, but...
I am already feeling the difficulty
of my specific role
in the industry I am currently challenging myself in.
To be honest,
even back in my previous job,
I was already aware of that difficulty.
Now that I have actually entered this field,
it is becoming
something solid within me.
I don't necessarily feel that I only want to work
in this specific role,
and I know that work is not everything.
(Since I started note, my world has expanded.)
Even if it is tough,
as long as I can find excitement and small glimmers of light,
I think there is meaning in continuing this role even if the environment changes,
and above all,
just give it a try!is the best approach.
Finally, it is Thursday.
Actually, I used to work Tuesday through Saturday,
so I am not used to working weekdays,
and my sense of the days is off by one.
Just a little bit left this week!
I will do my best~✨
