The sense of relief upon arriving home from a trip | 20-character novel
I love your beaming smile when you say, 'We're home! ♪'
(20-character novel complete)
Hello. This is RaM.
Out of all the articles on note, thank you so much for noticing and reading this one. 😊
This time, it's been a little while, but this is a daily life post featuring a 20-character novel.
I consider this article complete once the explanation is finished, so I'm starting to think, 'Wait, it didn't end in 20 characters after all,' (lol),
but I hope you will stick with me until the end. ♪

I am the type of person who feels most at ease in my own home.
No matter if it's my parents' house, the place where I feel most relaxed is the home I live in now.
The way home from a trip. The way home after stopping by my parents' house. The way home after finishing errands at my in-laws'. Sometimes I'm even more cheerful on the way back than on the way there.
Just imagining walking into my own home makes me happy.
I love going out and traveling, too.
Going out with my in-laws can be a bit stifling, but it's still a good opportunity because I get to go to places and have experiences I wouldn't normally have.
However, with my in-laws,
our sense of time is quite different.
I am the type who prefers
to take things slow and steady.
My husband's family,
once the main objective is over,
moves on to the next thing without a lingering moment...
A little, or rather,
we are quite different types.
Having a highly sensitive temperament,
my mind and body get quite exhausted.
For someone like me,
the moment I feel relieved and liberated
is when I arrive home.
The instant I step into the entryway.
The sense of relief
when entering my own home is immense.
I even think to myself,
I've finally made it back to my safe base.
Wrapped in a sense of relief,
I rejoice at a cellular level.
Entering the house,
just that alone lifts my spirits.
And at that moment, I must be
smiling quite broadly.
The other day, while I was preparing
for an overnight trip,
"I love seeing you
smiling and saying 'We're home~♪'
when we get back."
is what he said to me.
The material for today's 20-character novel
was this one remark my husband made
after watching me busy with preparations.
And so, I wrote the text in 20 characters
from my husband's perspective, not mine.
Spending time at a lovely inn,
fun events,
going to Disney or a Starbucks,
are all things I look forward to, but
after such fun,
there is a high risk of slipping
into negative thinking somewhere along the way.
Once I finish something exciting that makes me feel like I'm walking on air,
I want to land for a moment.
What I want to cherish above all else,
and what I want to prioritize and secure,
is my time at home (my time alone).
...is what this is.
