Hello. I am RaM.
Out of the many note articles available,
thank you so much for noticing and reading this one😊
On this note account,
while living a life where I cherish myself,
I weave together my thoughts, lessons learned,
and tips that can be applied to daily life
in my own words.
Please, relax,
and make yourself at home♪

Introduction
In this article,
I will be taking on the challenge of#WritingClubPrompt!
Prompt
“note 10th Anniversary, let’s celebrate your anniversary!”
This is a prompt planned
to commemorate note reaching its 10th anniversary🎉✨
Well then, here we go~♪
My anniversary
I have a past
where I could not forgive myself.
Although I have such a past,
now,
I live with the motto of
“cherishing myself.”
Since I started living my daily life with this awareness of “cherishing myself,”
April 2024 marks the 1st anniversaryof being able to truly forgive myself from the heart
.
Celebrating my own transformation!
In April 2023, a
fairly demanding job for me came to an end.
Since then, my life, which had been centered around work, has completely changed, and
my way of living and my values have shifted dramatically.
Until then, I was commuting to work in a neighboring prefecture,
and because I had to get up early,
I was almost never at home.
*Although my workplace encouraged remote work,
due to the nature of my job, there was almost no work I could do from home,
so I had no choice but to go into the office.
Since I'm calling this a celebration
of the anniversary of my transformation,
you might think that only good things happened,
but in reality, that's not the case;
there were sad and painful times as well,
but I have come to realize that
even those negative aspects are part of who I am!
Instead of rejecting my flaws
or my bad points,
I have become able to hold them gently with both hands.
What was the trigger?
The reason I, a person who was solely focused on work,
was able to realize that working alone isn't everything
was
when I finished my duties and, having settled down,
was able to look back at my home life and myself.
Work had its difficult moments, but
I was absorbed in it.
However, on the other hand,
the result of putting my own life, my loved ones, and my family—things I should have cherished—
on the back burner
became visible in the atmosphere of my home.
Until now, I didn't have the mental space to notice it, but
as I started spending more time at home,
it became impossible to ignore (lol).
Do things other than work.
Spend time doing things I enjoy.
Try acting on my own desires.
By doing so, I was detoxed,
and my mental health improved.
Being able to look at this mental health state objectively
was also triggered by
stepping away from work and gaining a little breathing room.
I have a personality where I tend to try too hard at everything, but
having white space (a margin) is truly important.
Conclusion
This past year has been a time where
I realized that it is okay for me
to live as myself.
It was a period where I could forgive myself,
and a period where I could affirm
what I have done and what I have experienced.
Even after starting this note,
that feeling remains strong.
And even now that I have returned to my profession,
the reason I continue writing on note
is because I want to cherish my own heart.
I cherish the connections I have made in the town of note,
and from those warm connections,
I am receiving the energy to live.
Thank you all so much, always.
In the final part, I wrote that I realized the importance of white space, but
not just for my own heart,
but also in work, life, and human relationships,
and even when writing these notes,
I think it is something I want to cherish.
In particular, I feel that the act of "writing"
is something that cannot be done flexibly
without having that white space.
It is okay to have times when you work desperately hard.
But I want to consciously make time
to relax both my mind and body.
A life that cherishes oneself,
not being too hard on myself, and maintaining a gentle looseness
is something I want to continue to hold onto.
