Days of Self-Care (Daily Life from 5/21 to 5/27)
How about a
break ☕ right about now?
Hello. This is RaM.
Today is the time for our weekly Wednesday
realistic daily life snapshot diary.
I have taken the liberty of
setting a constraint to express each day in three sentences.
It has been quite a while since I started this diary, and
reflecting for 10 minutes every day has become a habit.
If you would like,
please take a peek
at RaM's daily life😊

5/21 (Wed) Things I think about every time I come to the dentist
My dental visit had been put off because work got busy or I caught a bad cold.
I remembered it was around the time the cherry blossoms bloomed, and I had received a postcard from the dentist, but due to one thing or another, it was a bit late, and as expected, I had to resume treatment.
However, I am sure they caught it early, and for me, the necessary dental visit routine includes making an appointment for next month and stopping by a drugstore on the way home to buy oral care products to boost my motivation again.
5/22 (Thu) Music fills the heart
On a weekday evening, I had a rare errand to run, so I put on a full face of makeup and left the house.
It was my first time at Disney on Classic, and although my seat was quite far back, I could see the whole stage and enjoyed it far more than I had imagined.
Perhaps because my heart was so full, I was hit by an intense wave of sleepiness on the train ride home.
5/23 (Fri) Off, with some work.
I felt the conflict between wanting to take a break from work and needing to finish some remaining tasks.
I secretly bought myself a treat at the supermarket to motivate me to work hard, then started and finished the work with a fresh mindset.
After finishing the job, eating an ice cream all by myself for the first time in a while was blissful, and it even had a slightly devilish deliciousness to it.
5/24 (Sat) Yard work is heavy labor.
The weeding in the garden, which I had promised my husband to do for a long time, had been postponed so many times that it had reached the point where it could no longer be delayed.
After working hard for two and a half hours, the punchline was that I ended up with severe muscle pain and hurt my lower back and legs.
I reflected that I should have done some warm-up exercises beforehand, but it was already too late.
5/25 (Sun) Accepting the pain in my body.
My legs feel heavy, and even walking is a struggle.
However, I still have to do the housework and go grocery shopping.
Seeing both of us walking in such an unnatural way was a bit comical, and I couldn't stop laughing.
5/26 (Mon) Preparing for the busy days ahead.
I usually work on Mondays, but I had the day off because I changed my shift.
I actually wanted to go cafe-hopping to motivate myself for this week's work, but due to physical pain, I wasn't up for it and decided to stay home.
On the bright side, I saved money, read some reference materials for work, and listened to the music I wanted to hear, so this kind of stay-at-home day isn't so bad once in a while.
5/27 (Tue) Trust starts with me believing in myself first.
The energy born from even a small feeling of "I want to change" or "I think I need to change soon..." can sometimes turn into something positive.
While I understand the desire to avoid reality, I want to look ahead and support that growth.
Of course, I know there's a chance of being betrayed, but if I keep thinking that way, I'm sure it will show, so if I want others to trust me, I'll start by changing my own words and actions.
Thank you for taking a peek
into RaM's daily life. 💐
I hope the next seven days
will be peaceful ones...
