Regardless of winning or losing, I want to value the parts that aren't scored.
When I write.
It is a time to face myself.
What to write.
How to write.
How to handle the flow (strategy).
When I'm doing things seriously, I start by writing things out on paper and organizing them, but lately, I've been thinking about the conclusion while I write more often.
This time spent working silently by myself is sometimes lonely, and sometimes it becomes a time that enriches me.
I realized that to write, I need a diverse set of drawers.
It's not enough for those drawers to just contain vocabulary.
Vocabulary is, of course, necessary.
Because if I had none, I don't think I would even think about writing.
However, vocabulary might not solve everything.
Having vocabulary doesn't mean that my writing style or how I present things is complete.
Increasing the drawers within myself
is a process of enriching myself,
and because it is also about looking at my true self,
and grasping it,
I think that is why I feel lonely.
My daily posts have reached 230 days, and while the drawers I use when I "write" might be increasing little by little, I still have a long way to go.
What caught my eye while I was writing this was a video of breakdancing.
The way they listened to the music on the spot and performed moves to match it was breathtaking.
It's not just about practicing the moves, but thinking about how to assemble them on the spot and being required to have flexible ideas makes me feel like it might be similar to this writing.
Breakdancing is a new event in this Paris Olympics.
It seems it has been decided that it won't be held in the next Olympics, but it's amazing how they manage to get their condition perfectly dialed in for that one time.
Since the Olympics is a competition, there will inevitably be winners and losers, but I also want to value the process of increasing the drawers that aren't scored.
On the note where I unfold my writing, I can practice every day, so I vowed to keep expanding my repertoire for the big day that might come someday.

~Writing Club Prompt~
If you were to compare your writing to an Olympic event, what would it be?

#TriedWritingWithTheWritingClubPrompt
I tried taking on a prompt article for the first time in a while.
It's my comeback piece, but
somehow, it ended up being quite short.
My usual articles are on the longer side, but
I think it's okay to have something like this once in a while
is what I've been thinking.
I hope I can write for the prompt this week.
