🥚 What happens if you eat eggs every day? 3 changes that occur in your body | Explained by Neko-sensei
Hello everyone!Succhi here.
This time, I would like to introduce a video I previously released on YouTube Shorts titled
“What happens if you eat eggs every day?”
here on NOTE. 🥚
……I’ve pulled out an old video again (lol).
The inspiration came from Amanaka-san, with whom I always interact on NOTE. The other day, a “man who loves cows” led to an article about milk, and this time, he released a new song,
“I’m a Chicken” 🐔🎸
.
From cows to pigs, and finally, it’s chicken! 🤣 It’s food education, lol
So, once again, inspired by Amanaka-san’s article, I’d like to supplement my previous short video here on NOTE.
Now, for this one as well, let’s ask my partner, Neko-sensei, to provide the detailed explanation. 🐾

I’d like you to pretend you didn’t see the mess when I crack them. 🥚
🐱 What happens if you eat eggs every day?
It only takes 50 seconds, so please take a look!
From here on, Neko-sensei will provide some supplementary explanations for points that couldn’t be fully covered in the video. 🐾
🐾 Neko-sensei’s Supplementary Explanation
① Eggs contain a good balance of essential amino acids
Eggs are a food that contains a good balance of essential amino acids that cannot be produced within the body.
You can also confirm in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s food composition database that chicken eggs contain various essential amino acids as well as other amino acids.
Protein is essential for:
muscles
skin
hair
Enzymes
Hormones
and other various building blocks for the body.
Another great thing about eggs is that they are easy to incorporate into your daily diet, such as a boiled egg for breakfast or a rolled omelet in your bento box. 🥚

② They also contain a nutrient called "choline"
The choline I introduced in the video.
It might be a name you're not very familiar with, but it is a nutrient that serves as a building block for neurotransmitters and is used as a component that makes up cell membranes.
The US NIH also introduces eggs as one of the representative foods that contain choline. It is also treated as an important nutrient during pregnancy.
When people think of eggs, they have a strong image of
"protein"
, but they actually contain a variety of nutrients. 🐱

③ Some people feel they are filling
Eggs contain protein and fat.
Therefore, when you incorporate them into meals like breakfast,
"I felt less hungry than when I just had bread"
is something some people might feel.
However, satiety also depends on the content and amount of the entire meal, as well as individual differences.
It does not mean that if you eat eggs, you will definitely snack less.

⚠️ A little supplement regarding "one a day"
In the video, I introduced it as,
"If you're pairing it with a meal, about one a day is safe!"
I introduced it like that.
This time, after reviewing my old video again, I thought,
would I change the wording a little if I were to say it now?
.
Eggs contain cholesterol but for healthy individuals,
“Eggs are strictly limited to one per day”
there is no uniform upper limit set for this.
On the other hand, if you have dyslipidemia or similar conditions, you may need to be careful about the cholesterol you get from your diet. Even in the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's “Dietary Reference Intakes for Japanese (2025 Edition),” it is considered desirable to keep cholesterol intake below 200mg/day to prevent the worsening of dyslipidemia.
So, if I were to say it now,
“Don't just think about eggs alone; eat according to the balance of your overall diet and your body's condition.”
is how I would put it.
Since I cannot change the past video itself,
I will add a supplement here in this NOTE. 😊

🐾 Oh, that's right!
At the end of the video, I also introduce
ostrich eggs
.
Ostrich eggs are just huge.
According to the Smithsonian National Zoo,
an ostrich egg is about 15cm long and weighs up to about 1.4kg.
How many chicken eggs that equals depends on the size of the egg, but
around 20 eggs
is not a bad image to have.
If you were to make a fried egg...
I'd be more worried about the frying pan 🤣🍳
🐔 Speaking of chickens, it had to be eggs (lol)
This time, reading Amanaka-san's
“I'm a chicken”
was the trigger that reminded me of the old Neko-sensei videos.
Last time it was
cow → milk
and this time it is
chicken → egg
🤣
Amanaka-san turns it into a song, and I have Neko-sensei explain it.
This time, too, I have collaborated between our works in this NOTE 😊
And one of the reasons Amanaka-san and I met is Taku-san's music magazine. 🎸 Creators who enjoy music, such as Suno, AI music, DTM, and band performances, gather there, and I participate as well. 😊 If you are someone who makes music, likes listening to it, or is interested in AI music, please take a look! By the way, the music I use in my short videos is original, non-AI music!
Come to think of it, this collaboration with Amanaka-san was also a connection made possible by Taku-san.😊🐔🎸🥚
