Dinner on a certain day. Fish dishes my 4-year-old son loves | Daily Life Diary
In our home, we have a higher ratio of fish than meat for dinner.
My son, who loves fish, seems to prefer fish over meat, both for looking at and eating.
My husband loves meat, so I have to be a little mindful of that.
The photo is from a dinner when I served a fish dish that my son loves.
On this day, I made fish for my son and a meat dish for the adults.

☑︎ Cod stir-fried with butter and ponzu
☑︎ Ham and potato salad
☑︎ Pork kimchi for the adults
☑︎ Other vegetables
This butter-ponzu stir-fry is something I introduced the other day!
At that time, I made it with swordfish 🐟
It's a seasoning my son loves.
It's a simple combination of butter and ponzu, so I make it often.
However, only when I use cod,I use a little secret ingredient.
Perhaps because of that, my son devours it when it's cod ✨
Today, please let me introduce that secret ingredient ☺️
That secret ingredient is this!

It's Kayanoya's vegetable dashi in a bag ✨
I tear open the bag and sprinkle the dashi powder onto the fish.
When coating, just put it in a plastic bag (I-Wrap) and shake it. My son always does the shaking for me♪
The flavor is quite strong, so I use about 1/2 teaspoon for 3 pieces of cod.
It's best to use an amount that seems a little too small💡

After letting it sit for about 5 minutes, I add an appropriate amount of potato starch and shake it again.
Then, just lightly grease the pan and fry it,
once it's cooked through, turn the heat to low,
toss it with butter and ponzu sauce, and it's done!
(This time, I used about 5g of butter and a little less than 1 teaspoon of ponzu sauce.)

It's done in no time☺️
Be careful, as the parts with the dashi powder on them burn easily👀
I put the leftover dashi powder in a container and store it in the fridge.
I use it up by the next day.

I use it as a substitute for consommé when seasoning stir-fries. (I even added a little bit to the pork kimchi that day💡)
By the way, he ate a lot that day too,
and even begged me to put some in his lunchbox for the next day🥺
Poor Dad only got one bite 🥺
(I got two bites 🤣)
Since it has a consommé flavor, I think it might be easy for children who dislike fish to eat.
If you have vegetable stock, please give it a try 🙌
🫧 Bonus | About the images this time
ChatGPT Images 2.0 is a hot topic, isn't it!
The 🍌 was attractive and I was torn between it and Gemini for a long time, but since I hadn't left GPT, I'm very happy about this upgrade 🙌
In this article, I used ChatGPT Images 2.0 to create images with a "hand-drawn style" effect that is currently trending on social media 💡
With just one prompt it's truly amazing that images like this come out 😳
