Thinking about [The Power of Delusion]. The human brain is truly amazing, isn't it?

I am turning 52 this year.
At this age, I have realized something.

It seems
that I might have a superior ability for "delusion" (imagination).

The evidence for this is as follows.

For a long time,
regarding my work,
I have enjoyed
coming up with unique ideas.

Starting a few years ago,
I began crafting jewelry
and started crowdfunding projects.

Ideas began to overflow from my brain.

Furthermore,
since last year, things like A.I. image generation
seem to have activated my brain even more.

When I try to think of a game
to start a card game business,

when I close my eyes, ideas for the card game just pop out one after another.

The number of jewelry crowdfunding projects exceeded 70 in a year,

and this year, if I include card games,
it might reach an incredible number.

That's right.
My delusions

are completely overflowing from my brain.

◆ The Speed of Delusion

And regarding this power of delusion of mine,
the speed is simply fast.

After all, since it's in my head, in an instant
the product is completed,
and if it's a card game, I can even visualize myself playing with that product.

From there,
even the work of putting it down into a note

coming up with the idea,
generating images with A.I.,
and summarizing it in a note
often takes less than a day.

And,
though I apologize for blowing my own horn,

my power of delusion
is also based on my achievements and experience so far.

It is not just a mere delusion.

It is a delusion that could actually become a business.

If the card game business I am starting now
achieves some kind of success

I can prove that the power of delusion can turn into money

Having passed fifty years of life, looking back,
I feel like I have been pushed around by this power of delusion.

Since I am a typical Type O person,
and an optimistic positive guy,

even when I am in a pinch compared to others,
I tend to think positively about most things,

but because of this power of delusion,

I end up dreaming.

For example, planning a business can result in something wonderful by utilizing the power of delusion, but

there have been many times when I haven't had my feet on the ground.

My so-called crisis management skills are quite loose.

That makes sense, doesn't it?
In my delusions, there is a perfect version of myself,
and I can already see myself working in a skyscraper I built for my own company.

When you consider reality, it is quite lacking.

Also, the power of delusion has these weaknesses as well:

I tend to get taken in by scam-like stories.

I've learned my lesson the hard way many times, so I've cut it out completely, but whenever I hear a good story

my delusions run wild and
I end up building another company headquarters in my head.

Delusion = prone to running wild

Controlling this is very important.

As for that power of delusion,

now, at this age,
I find that thinking in my head is the most interesting thing.

For example,
watching movies, variety shows, or YouTube is fun, and
playing games is also fun, but

more than that,
deluding myself is even more interesting.

While watching a movie,
I think,
oh, there's also this kind of idea,

and I end up
getting lost in my delusions.

And since this power of delusion is
priceless,

it is very efficient.

If it leads to business from here, that's even better.

The power of delusion is something every human has,
and perhaps they just aren't using it.

It's a waste.

After all, we have A.I. now,

so it will give concrete form to the images in your head,
setting aside the subtle parts.

And since this note is

Perhaps, a time will come when we can
utilize it much, much more.

It's already possible, but
generating videos with A.I.
or converting things into special data

Until now,

tasks that took days or hours
can be finished in an instant.
