I was dreaming, a nightmare that went on forever.
The darkness was surprisingly comfortable,
and I thought that was fine.

I was dreaming, a pounding heartbeat.

that I couldn't resist that faint light...

I was dreaming of the sky I would one day fly into...

I was dreaming of a shining future...

A day that doesn't go well,
is fine just as it is.

Feelings that won't unravel,
don't have to be forced to unravel.

A night with the lights turned down low,
is surely a necessary time.

You who are here,
that alone is enough.

Without having to prove anything,
there is something that will never be lost.

Things you have carried
in places unseen,

are fine just as they are.
They surely don't have to disappear.

Just by you being there,
the scenery softens.
