The chain of 'coincidences' that happened on the day of visiting the grave, taught to me by a yellow butterfly
Yesterday, I went to visit the grave in the town where my 81-year-old mother was born.
Beside my mother as she began to clean, a yellow butterfly came flying from out of nowhere.

Thinking 'Wow, that's a good omen,' my mood felt lighter just like that.
That day, there was one more thing; I had recently heard somewhere that
'It is good to visit the Ubusunagami (guardian deity of one's birthplace) of the place where your mother was born.' So, I went to pay my respects with my mother.
My mother told me stories of her childhood bit by bit.
Watching her, I felt grateful that my mother is still doing so well.
What is Ubusunagami?
One of the classifications of Japanese deities. It refers to the guardian deity of the land where a person was born, and is considered to be the deity that protects that person from before they are born until after they die.

On the way home, I spent time soaking my feet in the river, as if washing away the distracting thoughts in my head.

At the mall we stopped by, my mother and I noticed the same houseplant at the same time, and we looked at each other and laughed.
After that, for some reason, my feet stopped in front of a lottery ticket booth.
My mother headed to the window first, and I followed her lead.
When 'coincidences' pile up, people want to find meaning in them.
But did it happen because there was meaning, or do I feel that way because I want to find meaning?
I don't know the truth.
Even so, one thing I can say is that it is you yourself who notices those 'coincidences' and decides whether to go along with them.
While letting yourself go with the flow, you are always the one holding the rudder at the end.
For you, what have your recent 'coincidences' taught you?
Today, too, a small seed in your heart 🌈🌱
