I have decided to start using this note in earnest from today.

On this account, I plan to share the following types of content so that you can get to know my art and my mind more deeply.

I want this to be a place where people who are feeling a bit tired from their daily work or life, or who feel like they want some new stimulation or healing, can drop by casually.

By reading these articles, you should be able to feel forms of art you have never seen before and the energy of the moment when a work is born.

Please bear with me for a little while as I also introduce myself!

In a word, I am "RYO, an automatic writing artist with no drafts and no finished designs in mind."

What is "automatic writing art" born from prayer?

When you hear "automatic writing," what do you imagine?

My signature collection, "ARAINSE," is born amidst praise and prayer.

When I pray, my hands begin to move automatically.

I don't think about this or that with my head; I draw as if water is overflowing, pouring down, and flowing.

This brand name ARAINSE, which combines "arise" and "rain,"
is what it is.

Before I knew it, I was able to exhibit this style in overseas galleries in places like New York and Milan.

My paintings have no restrictions on specific expression methods.

I draw on digital media and canvases, of course, but I also sometimes paint on discarded sofas, tables, and even sneakers.

Especially in live painting, I offer prayers to the people and the space present, and complete the work as if weaving a story.

I always hope that the energy of that moment will become a healing for someone's heart.

The reason why a former pharmacist lets go of "logic" and faces the canvas

Actually, I have a slightly unusual background.

I was originally a pharmacist.

Even now, my 'science brain' as a pharmacist is still alive and well.
When I work on things like logo design, I value a logical approach based on technical calculations.
I cherish a logical approach.

But when I face a canvas, it's the complete opposite.

I let go of logic and move my hands according to intuition and inspiration.

Logic and intuition.

Perhaps it is the combination of these two seemingly contradictory elements that creates my unique art.

I want to share not just the finished product, but the 'moment of birth'

Why did I decide to write this note?

It is becauseI wanted to share with you not just the finished work, but the very 'process of art being born'.

Hidden within the process until a painting is completed are various emotional fluctuations and invisible stories.

I would be happy if delivering those in words could become a trigger for opening new doors in your daily lives.

Wearing art. A new challenge for 2027

Currently, I am scaling back my activities a little.
Even though I'm going to be posting on note from now on.

That is because I have a big goal.

Towards February 2027, I am in the process of preparing to launch an apparel brand together with my wife, who is a fashion artist.
I am currently preparing to launch an apparel brand.

I hope to document the process of such a challenge in this note as well.
