What I Realized on the Twilight Platform: On Days When Things Don't Go as Planned, You Need the Strength to Embrace Your Heart

Standing on the station platform at twilight,
I suddenly stopped in my tracks.
The people around me were hurrying to finish their day.
Only the setting sun quietly illuminated my sleeves, nestling close as if whispering, 'Well done.'
In that light, my heart ached just a little.
Today, too, there were things that did not go well.
Efforts that went unrewarded, frustrations I couldn't put into words, and feelings I still carry.
However,
when I took a deep breath right there,
I realized one certain thing.
“The me who stopped”
has not lost a single thing.
Days when you cannot move forward, days when you cannot act, days when your heart cannot keep up.
On such days, you need to gently embrace the 'you who is breathing right here.'
No matter how noisy the outside world may be,
no matter how much brighter others may seem,
the fact that you are 'here' today does not disappear.
In fact,
it is proof that you have worked hard enough to stand still.
The twilight platform had a space that quietly affirmed that.
I hope that you, too,
will choose one kind word
for yourself, having survived this day.
'You have come so far.'
That is enough.
Life begins to move forward little by little
through the accumulation of such small affirmations✨
