The morning rain has finally stopped, and it is a Saturday where the city air feels just a little clearer.
I was walking gently along the wet cobblestone path with an umbrella in one hand.

Puddles still remained here and there at my feet, and raindrops and mud had splashed onto the hem of my dress.
Beside me, a cat walked freely, as if to say, "You don't need to worry about that."

Even though I was far from perfect, for some reason, my heart felt suddenly lighter.

And the presence of the cat walking beside me gently tells me, "You have made it to today just fine."✦
