Hello. I'm Okamoto, in charge of planning and editing at impress QuickBooks.
Starting today, Tuesday, February 25th, we are holding a contest to collect episodes about the "scumbag men" you have met!
Being driven mad with jealousy and forced to gain weight, being made to level up in an RPG at home, having nude photos taken of you... Have you ever dated such a scumbag man and worn down your precious heart and body? The time has come for such bittersweet memories to see the light of day!! Please share your scumbag man episode.
The one person chosen for the Grand Prize will receive a 3,000 yen Amazon gift card. In addition, three runners-up will be presented with a copy of the romance essay book "I Am a Scumbag Man Manufacturing Machine: The Best Memories with Men I Can't Hate", which compiles episodes with "scumbag men" just like this project. The judges will be the book's author, Ryo Kitazaki, and myself, the editor in charge, Okamoto.
Also, in conjunction with this contest, we will be releasing a portion of the episodes from "I Am a Scumbag Man Manufacturing Machine: The Best Memories with Men I Can't Hate" for free starting tomorrow! Each episode will be available for a limited time of one week each, so don't miss this opportunity.

[Introduction]
Dedicated to all women who have been troubled by scumbag men
"Why don't you date a more normal guy?"
I will write about the many shocking episodes with scumbag men I have dated in the past, whom I have been told that about by those around me for over 20 years.
Are there only scumbags in the world?
Or do I just like scumbags?
Or did I make them into scumbags?
In the first place, is it just that I don't have a good eye for men, and they aren't actually scumbags...?
There are unpleasant memories I don't even want to remember, but I have faced those questions head-on.
I wrote this book for women who are suffering from similar experiences to mine.
It might not be a comfort, but I would be happy if you could read it with the feeling of "that happens" or "there are men like that too."
