The story of how my bank balance was filled with '8's after visiting Ryuchin Shrine and Ryuketsu Shrine
Last Sunday, wanting a little change of pace,
I was taken to 'Ryuchin Shrine' and 'Ryuketsu Shrine' in Uda, Nara.
I had been curious about Ryuchin Shrine ever since I happened to see it on social media,
and it had also come up in conversation with clients several times.
Knowing that the day happened to be an Ichiryumanbai-bi (a day when a single grain of rice multiplies ten thousand times),
I thought, 'This might be the perfect time to go!'
and decided to pay a visit.
It was a quiet shrine in the forest,
where the air and water were clear,
and just taking a deep breath there
felt like it was cleansing my soul.
I didn't make any specific requests,
but I prayed while thinking,
'I hope the flow of things changes,'
'I hope I can move in a good new direction.'
And two days later,
I happened to look at my bank book,
and I was shocked to see that my balance was made up entirely of the number '8'!
I'll keep the specific amount a secret here,
but it was so perfectly filled with '8's
that I had to look twice and couldn't help but laugh.
Moreover, it seems that day was also an Ichiryumanbai-bi.
'8' is a number that represents prosperity and ever-expanding abundance.
To have '8's line up on an Ichiryumanbai-bi,
it felt like the Dragon God was patting me on the back,
saying, 'It's okay, it's okay,' and it made me feel so warm inside.
After that, I visited Ryuketsu Shrine again as well.
I wonder if the white dragon and the black dragon were happy?
I feel like I'm being watched over by both dragons.
It's a small mystery,
but I feel like I'm going to be able to ride a good wave from here on out.

May good things come your way.
