[Lilac Cup Extra Edition] Cherry Blossom Viewing with Rira-chan & Announcements
Hello everyone. It's been a little while!
The Lilac Cup has finally opened for submissions and is generating a lot of excitement. I'm Quest, and I was in charge of the BGM for the opening video.
The opening video featured a story-driven performance by the Lilac spirit “Rira-chan” and the six spirits who call for spring. Did you see it?
I'm so happy to see them appearing in so many of the title images for the articles submitted by everyone participating in the Lilac Cup.
Thank you. The masterpieces by character designer Kuya-san and logo designer rira-san are really making the rounds in the world of note.
As for me, I wanted to enjoy this world-building even more (for my own sake!), so I created character BGM for everyone and held a tie-up project to help build excitement from the release of the opening video until the start of submissions.
Here is the collection of links to the 8 songs, including the opening track.
And so, the Lilac Cup has successfully begun, but
it felt sad and lonely for the characters' roles to end here...
I thought to myself, and since it's cherry blossom season, the season for flower viewing... I had Rira-chan make a reappearance (lol).
It's a video of cherry blossom viewing with Rira-chan!
Her fellow spirits will come along halfway through. I don't usually make videos, but I did my best!
In addition to the cherry blossom photos I've been taking freely with my smartphone every year, the photos in the video were also provided by the Lilac Cup crew members.
After the BGM that appeared in the opening video, I created and played a music box version of Rira-chan's theme song, “Straight Feelings”.
I thought about ending it there, but I still had some photos I'd taken myself, so I added one more song. This is my original song, “Tamayura”.
Many of my photos are of local cherry blossoms, but since I went to various places early in the spring, there are also some from tourist spots. I hope you can get a taste of a little trip. I'm not a photographer, so my photography skills are just okay... Also, I don't usually make videos, so I'm sure there are some shortcomings, but please enjoy it.
I hope the Lilac Cup will be a great success and that many people will participate. At the end of the video, there is also a QR code for the Lilac Cup application requirements, so please feel free to use it to introduce the event.
Oh. It's a bit late, but you can find information about the Lilac Cup here.
And now, here is a more personal announcement... The 8 songs including the opening and character BGM I introduced earlier will be available to listen to on subscription music streaming sites like Spotify and Apple Music on
April 27th as the mini-album “Lilac”!
Rira-san also created the album artwork for me♪

It will be after the submission period ends, but I made it in time for the ending (lol). I'll announce it again when it gets closer, but I appreciate your support.
I don't have a knack for writing, but maybe I'll write something too... I'd also like to drop by and see everyone's masterpieces.
Spring sky, faces of friends gathering together, carrying the changing seasons on a melody

Thank you to everyone who listened!
Rapeseed blossoms and cherry blossoms intertwine, it is April

Various flowers pass the baton to each other within the season of spring.
Again today, Ohtani, Murakami, Nootbaar

starting today, Japanese professional baseball is opening too!
So, getting carried away by the momentum, I'm participating in tanka, haiku, and senryu all at once!
(In order from top to bottom: tanka, haiku, senryu. Participating with one poem each.)
