📖 Ku is the best teacher who gives me so much 'knowledge'.
Even though it was just a few days ago,
it feels like such a long time ago
that we were out for a walk so energetically.
Little by little, little by little.
Again today, the things she can't do are increasing.
But the amazing thing about Ku is that she teaches me all sorts of knowledge.
Actually, three years ago, her hind legs became paralyzed once.
The cause was 'cod' for a hot pot.
Cod that I simmered in a pressure cooker, having removed the bones perfectly, or so I thought.
I thought I had prepared it perfectly, but after eating it, Ku's legs became wobbly.
I blamed my own ignorance and felt terrible for putting her through such a hard time, but what I found out after researching was the possibility of external factors like 'ciguatera toxin' that cannot be prevented even by heating, or a strong rejection reaction due to individual differences.
Cod itself is said to be safe, but there might be risks hidden in the parts near the gills that we cannot control.
The nursing harness I desperately searched for and bought back then.
Actually, that is what is supporting our walks now.
If it weren't for that trouble back then, I wouldn't have been able to respond to the current changes so quickly.
And it would have taken much longer to be prepared to accept the current situation.
When making homemade meals, pay the utmost attention.
Try new ingredients little by little to check the dog's constitution.
Failures and painful memories are all precious assets that Ku has taught me.
Today, too, I want to look for what Ku can do now, together with her.
Please click to support me 🙇♀️
It is very encouraging 🥹
