[Thai Listening] Podcast about Japanese Yokai
I have been listening to the Thai podcast I introduced the other day little by little every day.
Among the Thai podcasts I've listened to recently, there was an episode that I just had to share with you all! It's an episode about Japanese Yokai from Myth Universe, which introduces motifs that appear in world mythology.
They introduce Japanese Yokai quite systematically here, which is very interesting for a Japanese person to listen to. They also briefly touch upon Netflix movies and anime that feature the introduced Yokai. There are so many interesting topics that I just have to share it with you.
Anyone who has learned a foreign language knows that if the theme being discussed is something familiar, it makes it much easier to listen to. Since the names of Japanese Yokai and the titles of anime and movies they appear in come up one after another, it is quite easy to listen to, even though it is about 50 minutes long in total.

It was a bit surprising that there was no mention of Shigeru Mizuki or GeGeGe no Kitaro, even though the theme was Yokai. Maybe it's because it would be too hard to keep track of?
Of course, this does not cover all the topics that appear. It is an incomplete list where I just picked out proper nouns on my own. If you find other interesting things they talked about, please let me know.
My Thai level is only good enough to feel happy when I hear a Japanese noun I know, so I don't understand everything. I apologize if there are any errors.
