Beyond the White Azure: Summer [Droplets of Words - Trial Reading] (4)
When you read these droplets, the fading light in your heart gently flickers back to life.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, may you find a little warmth for your heart.
The sky was wrapped in a blanket of white light,
and the sound of cicadas poured down without pause.
In the distant rice fields, the stalks swayed,
and heat haze shimmered above the asphalt.
That brilliance seemed to cover up the worries piling up in my heart,
only increasing the sense of suffocation.
It is not that I have lost anything.
Yet, an unfulfilled thirst spreads within my chest.
"What is it that I am searching for?"
I wipe away my sweat and look up at the sky.
The question wavers in the heat, vanishing without an answer.
What lies at the end of my search?
I do not know yet.
But I am certainly a person who seeks the light and the wind.
Believing that cool rain awaits beyond the towering cumulus clouds,
I continued to walk slowly along the midsummer road.
Thank you for reading until the end 😊
