[Fragments of Light: Extra Edition] "That Half-Step is a Path Leading to the Future" ~The "Future I Aim For" Seen Through an Article from Takata High School~
🕯️ Introduction
This morning, I came across this article.
"We presented a donation to the children's cafeteria"
From an article by Iwate Prefectural Takata High School
Support that high school students worked on by hand for the sake of local children.
It wasn't just a donation; I was moved by the sight of them handing it over with their "thoughts" infused into it.

💡 Even if it's just a "half-step," I am on the same path
I, too, have only just begun my journey. (At the stage of donating a small portion of sales somewhere)
However—
Knowing that someone is already moving in the same direction as the "future I am aiming for" gives me great hope.
The future I envision is:
・For the sake of local children,
・To deliver visible support and invisible support (a light for the heart).
・A world that supports people not just through donations, but also through "words."
Thinking about Takata High School's activities, I realized something.
In terms of a timeline, I should reach this place two or three years later.
No, I am already on that path.
🌱 What I can do, and what comes next
For example, the Shizuku series of stories.
Pochan mail, donation-linked notebooks, wallpaper sales, and gifts of words.
Though the forms differ, the activity of handing over "light" had already begun.
So that this light may one day reach the local children as well.
It's not just about food and places; I can surely create a "children's cafeteria warmed by words" too.
It might be just a small "half-step" for now, but it is a certain path.
Children hold unknown potential.
And now, the high school students are giving it shape. There is no reason I cannot do it!
✨ Conclusion
The feeling of "for someone else's sake" connects across time.
The students of Takata High School proved that to me with their actions this time.
Thank you, everyone at Takata High School.
And, may the day come when I, too, can give back to my local community as a "supporter who uses words."
