The answer is...

It's what a child patient said

to an elderly patient.

It doesn't make sense, does it?

I think very few people will understand.

In a hospital, having "empty beds" is,

naturally, not good for business.

*Think of it the same as a "vacant room" in an apartment*

So,starting from a certain era,

"empty bed utilization" began to be practiced.

For example, a pediatric patient being admitted to a cardiology ward,

such situations began to arise.

The words from earlier were

To an elderly female patient

These are words spoken by a child (preschooler) patient.

*The elderly patient who was told this was, fortunately? hard of hearing*

I used to think that children

say such terrible things, and so clearly too,

I thought.

But then, I realized something.

It has to do with changes in the structure of society.

The fact that a super-aging society and the nuclear family structure were progressing simultaneously.

To explain this case:

Super-elderly = wrinkled, white hair, and messy hair

Nuclear family = a child who has never seen a super-elderly person

To the child, the super-elderly patient in front of them

did not look like a human.

So, the answer the child arrived at

might have been the term "monster"

that they saw in anime or similar media?

In this way, the child patient

who was admitted using an "empty bed"

gained their first opportunity in life to interact with a super-elderly person.
