Looking back on 'Sai no Matsuri' and announcing the application requirements for the fan fiction event [#CreativeTime]
Hello, this is PJ.
Do you all know about an event that took place two years ago, during Christmas 2021, called'Sai no Matsuri' (Festival of Talent)?

'Public Call for Love Story (Novel)' Early November
⇓
'Novel Grand Prix Announcement (Judges)'
⇓
'Lyrics Public Call based on the Grand Prix Novel (2 works from 2 perspectives)'
⇓
'Announcement of 2 Lyric Works (Judges)'
⇓
'Music production for 2 works / Video production for 2 works'
⇓
'Music Announcement' Before Christmas
It was an event that proceeded with this content from early November 2021 toward Christmas of the same year.
The number of entries was incredible! '134 novels' and '80 sets of lyrics'!
It became a huge, successful event.
'Sai no Matsuri' became a special memory for me.
I think I continue to hold personal events while still carrying the feeling of 'I want to try doing Sai no Matsuri again someday' and the feeling of 'I can't do something that exhausting ever again.'
It was the first event I did as a team. Even though it was an 'extension of play,' responsibility was born, and each of us carried a burden. It was harder than I thought.
Besides, it will be difficult to gather such an amazing team of members again in the future.
👇Members at the time👇
[Management]
xu, rira, Mimuko, Shirokuma Kirin, Jiyunpei, Hayashippu♡, Kacchi
[Musicians]
Jiyunpei, Soda Hiro, Koyomi
[Support]
J-Oyaji, Yuzu, Salaryman Yu, Sakuma, Rular, Madoka Sasara, Shun Ninomiya
They were truly a magnificent group of members.
The reason I was able to fulfill the role of organizer was likely because I had the passion of 'just starting to compose music' and 'just starting on note.' It brings back so many memories.
To all the team members, everyone who supported us, everyone who participated, and everyone who read and listened to the works. Thank you so much for that time. I thank you from the bottom of my heart m(__)m
I realized halfway through that this group of personal projects, including [#CreativeTime] and [#LyricWritingTime] which I started on November 26, 2023, is similar to'Sai no Matsuri'.
The flow of this group of personal projects seems to be running'Sai no Matsuri' in reverse.
This time, there was music at the beginning. Several melodies were placed on it, many lyrics were gathered... and now, I am about to start accepting fan fiction centered on novels.
It felt somewhat mysterious...
...and, my look back at'Sai no Matsuri' has become quite long. Excuse me!
Pulling myself together, I will write about the main topic,'Year-spanning Fan Fiction Application Event [#CreativeTime]'!

Theme Lyrics ([#LyricWritingTime] Submissions)
*For those that have music, videos are also attached. I might add a few more...
① rira-san.
rira-san's novels always make the scenery come to mind, and the lyrics were the same.
Please enjoy these wonderful lyrics!
② Shirokuma Kirin-san.
A scene of love on a morning train. Are they a student?
It's a cute, heart-pounding lyric that makes my heart flutter.
③ el faro-san.
This is my first time participating in an event, but I received many applications!
I know it takes courage to participate for the first time, but I'm very happy that you've participated several times since then!
The lyrics depict a wavering female heart. I'm looking forward to poignant novels, haiku, and tanka.
④ PJ
Mine is a Christmas song.
Since many of the other lyrics were also Christmas-themed due to the timing, I would be grateful if you could create something for next year's Christmas!
⑤ el faro-san, round 2!
The fun feeling of Christmas comes across!
The scenery of white breath and white snow comes to mind.
The feeling of it expanding toward the end also seems like it could be a source for creation.
⑥ Moomin Mama-san also took on the challenge for the first time this time!
A precious time from student days.
There is poignancy within the fun, and it is precisely within that poignancy that precious times are accumulated.
It seems like a story could expand within these short lyrics.
I can imagine a novel centered on spoken language.
Thank you for participating!
7. Rira's second entry.
It's a rewarding article to read, including explanations on how to write lyrics.
The lyrics themselves also successfully shape the short story prompt. As expected.
8. Suzumura.
A night drifting with precariousness.
Lyrics that seem capable of giving birth to various stories.
9. Misucha.
A stable finish, as expected from a composer and arranger.
A Christmas song.
10. Rira.
The third entry is a triple collaboration with Ohayou Yonechan.
With cute lyrics, the scene of a girl spinning around came to mind.
11. Tsuki Hazukiwas also a first-time participant.
I felt both the weakness and strength of a man.
Since there is an original novel, the worldview is solid.
You can enjoy it in the order of novel -> lyrics -> novel.
*This is just the chorus, improvised and sung to the same chord progression as the project song.
12. Watari Niiharaalso participated in the previous event.
The song, which sang about a man's straightforward feelings, reminded me of a likable young man.
13. MisuchaThere are also works with choruses produced by the artist themselves. Please give them a listen.
14. Sarasa Kugiwas also a first-time collaboration!
Sad lyrics with the theme of parting.
A man hugging his knees in a dark room came to mind.
15. Ohayou Yonechancreated a bright and fun song.
It's a song that cheers you up.
16. RiraFor the third work, she added lyrics to my prompt song.
She brilliantly turned a text themed around long periods of time and reincarnation into lyrics.
17. Misucha.
An event by the riverside.
These are lyrics that could be expanded into various forms.
18. el faroalso added lyrics to Misucha's work.
Since it was a related work, I included this as well.
19. Mairawas also a first-time collaboration!
Christmas season.
Because it's cold outside, I felt the gratitude of the warmth in the room.
20. Kumomanialso joined us in the previous event!
A work that feels the love for pets.
It's interesting because it can be taken from the perspective of either the owner or the pet.
It seems like there are many ways to think about how to cook this.
21. el faro!
The fourth work is also a collaboration with Misucha!
Everyone, please submit many entries aiming for 5 works to surpass 'el faro'!
22. Mimosaalso wrote fun lyrics for us.
A song that gives you energy after the rain!
23. SuzumuraSecond song.
I thought it was a fun, positive, and bright song, but the last line...
What kind of story will it become?
I'm looking forward to it.
24. Soranoirois also a first-time collaboration.
Lyrics that flow naturally.
The scene of a beautiful sky comes to mind.
25. Mimosa-sanSecond song!
I'd like to see a miniskirt Santa.
The unsettling words that appear here and there make me wonder about the ending...
It seems like various stories could be born from this.
A total of 25 works
