Reflecting on Hinamatsuri
This time, inspired by Ruko-san's Hinamatsuri project,
I found myself reflecting on what Hinamatsuri means to me.
Let's enjoy an adult's Hinamatsuri♡ Writing down memories for the "note Hinamatsuri"
Whenever I display the Hina dolls, there is someone I always remember.
A friend born on March 3rd.
We met as mothers of classmates of my second son, but
before I knew it, she had become a special person to me.
The day I visited her home and she listened to me.
The day she suddenly came to my house.
The time we spent laughing together while making posters.
The casual moments over lunch.
People always gather around her.
She is someone with a gentle aura who puts my heart at ease.
And, what matters most to me is...
that I can talk to her without choosing my words.
I don't have to polish what I say.
I can show my weaknesses and my pain just as they are.
In truth, I don't have many friends like that.
We aren't always together, but
I think of her at random times and reach out.
While wishing for my daughter's healthy growth,
I think of her as I decorate the Hina dolls.
Since we are both mothers of students preparing for entrance exams,
I have been somewhat refraining from contacting her lately.
But, once I finish writing this article,
maybe I'll send her a celebratory LINE message.
Just a "Congratulations."
I think that alone would be enough.
