[Project Participation] How I use note & My personal rules

I was interested, so I'm participating in this project.

I've filled it out by adding a few items to the
template questions.

🍀What is your note time like?

✔︎Days I post:
Currently posting every day. I have already achieved my goal. Since I haven't run out of topics yet, it has become a habit and I'm continuing.

✔︎Time I post:
6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. I reread what I wrote by the previous day, make corrections, and then post.

✔︎Time of day I write:
I often work on my PC in the morning. Sometimes I type on my iPhone while commuting.

✔︎Time spent writing:
As much as I like when I have time. I try to take notes whenever something comes to mind.

🍀What is the fun of note?

✔︎Things that have been fun since I started note
・It's fun because it's suitable as a tool for organizing thoughts
・Utilizing the search function to use it as my own digital notebook
・When I encounter notes with perspectives different from my own
・When I read notes by people who have the same rare way of thinking as I do

✔︎Things that weren't there when I started note, but are fun now
・Increasing number of followers
・Getting 'likes'
・Being able to utilize the support function (donations to NPO corporations)
・Getting requests for article topics from friends

✔︎My approach to note
・Focusing on what I like → That's why it's fun
・As I feel, as I think, honestly → That's why it's easygoing
・Rather than creating, just writing out thoughts already in my head → That's why it's simple
・As the mood takes me → That's why it's leisurely

🍀What kind of things do you write about in your note articles?

I have divided my articles into seven magazines. At first there were few, but as the number of articles increased, the number of magazines also increased.

Magazine 1: Stories about life 14 articles
(What is life?, pursuit of happiness, values, diversity, etc.)

Magazine 2: Stories about retirement 10 articles
(Thoughts on second life, the process leading to early retirement, etc.)

Magazine 3: Stories about investment 19 articles
(Finance-related, asset management, asset operation, portfolio, individual stocks, etc.)

Magazine 4: Essays/Daily life 21 articles
(Essays on things I feel in my daily life)

Magazine 5: Reading/Mind maps 12 articles
(Notes on books I've finished reading, mind maps, organizing and uploading things I wrote in the past)

Magazine 6: Intellectual Exploration & Behavioral Psychology 19 articles
(A collection of articles discussing the background and psychology behind why people take action, based on my own experiences.)

Magazine 7: Cebu Stay Journal 23 articles
(I love Cebu Island and have visited about 10 times. These are notes I wrote during my stay in December 2022.)

🍀 How I solve problems on note!

✔︎ Why I started note
I was recommended to start by a friend.

✔︎ How I write note 1
I write the title first. I save it as a source for ideas.

✔︎ How I write note 2
I use the voice input feature on my iPhone to dictate (or should I say, talk?) my posts. I'm better at speaking, so I've adopted this method. It saves time when I do the structuring afterward.

✔︎ How I write note 3
I have a notebook I call my 'Morning Pages.' Every morning, I go for a walk to see the sunrise. When I get home, I write down the casual thoughts and ideas that popped into my head during the walk to organize my thinking.

It's a notebook for no one else to see. From those, I transcribe the ones that would be fine to read into note.

✔︎ Tips for consistency
I try to always be satisfied with the final product. I don't compare myself to others and consider it a success if it's self-contained.

I can now say it's my hobby
I started it for myself, but realizing I have readers has become a source of motivation
I'm able to utilize the support feature (donations to NPO organizations)

✔︎ note thumbnails (cover images)
If an image for the thumbnail comes to mind immediately after writing an article, I value that image. For books and mind maps, I use the book cover. For my Cebu stay journal, I use a beach. That's my rule.

For abstract articles (thinking, action, happiness, finance, purpose in life, etc.), I use a cat. Regardless of the article's content, I basically use a cat so that I don't spend too much time on this task. (60 cats / 100 articles)
