Please read this first ๐ About the collaborative magazine for sharing feelings of gratitude
Everyone, the word "thank you."
The feeling of "thank you."
Have you told anyone lately?
In our daily lives,
being helped by someone,
being spoken to with kind words,
or being supported by casual acts of kindness.
I'm sure there are many such moments, aren't there?
I have a visual impairment and am almost completely blind.
I live with my guide dog, Ojo.
In my daily life, there is always a lot of warm support.
People say things like "Please, go ahead" on the train,
or "The elevator is empty," or
"The light is green."
Supported by the casual, warm kindness of many people,
my daily life is made possible.
Every time I receive such support,
I feel grateful, touched by their kindness, and warmed every single day.
And this isn't just in my daily life.
In the world of note as well,
there are people who kindly look things up and teach me
when I can't see or don't know how to do something,
and people who reach out to me thoughtfully.
I truly feel that our surroundings are overflowing with kindness,
and I am always filled with gratitude.
But sometimes, I wonder.
Am I properly conveying that feeling of gratitude?
Perhaps there are "thank yous" I truly want to express
that end up left unsaid.
That is why I came up with this magazine.
I hope we can all properly share the "thank yous"
we feel in our daily lives.
I hope this can become such a place.

๐ Thoughts behind this magazine
This magazine is a place for us,
as people with disabilities, to share the
"feelings of gratitude" we experience in our daily lives.
Things that made us happy when someone helped us.
Moments when a casual word warmed our hearts.
Times we were supported in ways we didn't even notice.
I hope we can gently share these everyday "thank yous"
from here.
And by us sharing voices like,
"I was so happy when you did this for me,"
I believe it can serve as a hint for those
who are unsure of how to offer support,
and lead to expanding the circle of kindness.
I would be happy if this magazine becomes a warm place
where the "thank yous" from us, the people involved, gather,
and kindness spreads little by little.

๐ฅ Who I would like to participate in this magazine
The people I would like to invite to participate this time are
people with disabilities living their daily lives, and
their families, friends, and supporters who assist them.
Originally, I think the word "person involved" (toujisha)
is a term used in a much broader sense,
including people living with some kind of hardship
and those supporting them around them.
However, this is my first time running a collaborative magazine,
and because I have a visual impairment, there are many things I cannot do well.
While I truly wish for many more people to participate,
I can imagine that if it becomes too broad,
I might not be able to manage it myself.
Therefore, this time, I would like to start this magazine
focusing primarily on those in positions closer to my own.
The type of disability does not matter.
The number of followers does not matter either,
and whether you have just started on note,
have been continuing for many years,
or are posting for the first time, you are all very welcome.
I would be happy if we could share the
"feelings of gratitude" we feel in our daily lives
together from here.
I am sincerely looking forward to the participation of everyone
who shares this sentiment. ๐

๐ธ Conclusion
Thank you for reading this far.
I hope this magazine becomes a warm place where "feelings of gratitude" from us, the people involved, gather, and that kindness spreads to someone else.
This is my first time creating a collaborative magazine, and since I have a visual impairment, there may be things I cannot do or things that take me time.
However, I also believe that kind people who will help me will gather in this place.
And I would be happy if we could continue to deliver "thank yous" from here in response to that kindness.
I hope to slowly grow this into a warm place overflowing with "feelings of gratitude" together with all of you.
I would be very happy if you would become a member of this magazine โค๏ธ

๐ Special Thanks
And the reason I was able to decide to create this collaborative magazine this time is because Maki-san kindly taught me how to create one.
Thanks to Maki-san's articles, I was able to gather the courage to take a step forward.
I am sure many things I don't understand will come up in the future as well.
But it was because I could think that Maki-san and everyone else would help me that I was able to gather the courage to try this challenge.
Thank you so much, always.
I have posted the link to the article that Maki-san kindly wrote about how to create and manage a collaborative magazine here.
It is an important guide for when I am in trouble.
