Why not make "resting" the main priority?
Putting your heart into it,
taking your time,
putting in the effort—
these are things everyone is conscious of when sending a note article out into the world.
But there is no point if you wear yourself out just to write.
A PC cannot create words for you.
Thoughts expand
in the midst of daily life.
The PC is just a convenient tool to type them out.
So, you can just treat note as a little bit of fun that sits quietly as an extension of your life,
and leave it at that.
For me, note is
strictly a hobby.
By taking photos and writing about things that made me laugh, chuckle, or feel a bit sad,
I organize my thoughts.
I think that is the secret to keeping my state of mind "calm" at all times.
Therefore, after updating note,
worrying about how many "likes" or "views" I have
is not "calm."
There are many people who earn an income from the words they weave.
There are also those who post aggressively and positively.
I am amazed at where the power to spin words every day comes from.
The subject matter, the data that goes with it, and so on.
These are all things you cannot do on a whim.
But as I wrote the other day, I realized that is a bit different from what I want to write.
I tend to group people I think are "amazing" but different from me
under the label of "glittery."
When that happens, my state of mind is no longer "calm."
I don't know if "SNS fatigue" is the right term,
but I know from past experience that it is the "beginning" of not being able to continue for a long time.
Because I start to see myself as a moth flying into a bug zapper.
Thinking that if I go to the bright place, maybe I'll be noticed.
Thinking, I want to be in that light too.
Not everyone can or will do the same thing.
The city of note is just like a real city,
many different people live there.
While it is a useful platform for monetization,
there is no rule that says your articles have to be like that.
I want to take photos in my daily life.
I want to carefully select the photos I display at my "coten" exhibition about twice a month.
So when photos pile up,
I take a break from note.
While working in the garden or dancing. ← You should do your work too ( ̄▽ ̄)
Sometimes, in the middle of a conversation with someone, words that connect to a photo
suddenly come to mind.
Don't forget what you want to do on note.
There is no need to push yourself on note.
As long as I don't forget that,
I think I can keep the feeling of being tired of note
at bay.

👆 I am participating in this project.
Photos I took while visiting my parents' home or going to Numazu for errands
are all scattered about.
I think I'll take my time and craft an article.
That's when I came across this article.
It stopped me when I was thinking of just posting a tweet saying "I'll be taking a break from updates for a while,"
and made me think, "Wait, isn't that wrong??" and gave me time to reflect.
