The Directionally Challenged Scream in Shibuya
Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shinagawa...
S3 Parallel World (a name I came up with myself)
How are you? I am directionally challenged.
I have never met anyone more directionally challenged than I am.
If this were a tournament, I would win by a landslide. It is almost something to be proud of, given how bad it is.
Yes, there is no hope for improvement, so I have just accepted it.
I love being at home and I dislike crowds.
When you add being directionally challenged to that,
staying home has become my default.
When I occasionally have plans to go into the city, I get nervous well in advance. You might think I should just use a convenient map app. You are underestimating me.
I spin around in circles along with the app.
Trying to figure out where I am and which way to go.
Shibuya is a foreign land to me.
There are so many people I feel like I am running out of oxygen,
and without a doubt,
I never reach my destination.
The destination never appears, to the point where I wonder if I have accidentally stepped into a parallel world.
Even if I leave the house early, time passes mercilessly.
Realizing I have reached my limit,
I call the shop...
“Um, excuse me...
I have lost my way...
What... you want to know where I am right now?”
...I scream in the middle of Shibuya.
If I knew that, I wouldn't be lost!!
