[3-Line Diary] Autumn Leaves Conversation
Kamigamo Shrine was where I visited after that.
I was sitting leisurely on a bench at Kozan Yusui Coffee drinking coffee.
Then, an older lady sat down as if to ask, 'Is this seat taken?', and we chatted while looking at the natural scenery visible from the bench.
Note:
Autumn foliage season, Kyoto in autumn is lively. There were many wedding couples at both Shimogamo Shrine and Kamigamo Shrine, along with many of their guests. With Shichi-Go-San also coinciding, the shrine grounds were bustling.
Amidst all that, after my visit, Kozan Yusui Coffee was not as crowded as I expected, and there were benches available.
The view from the bench featured autumn leaves turning red, creating an atmospheric landscape. In that setting, I enjoyed
coffee with the person sitting next to me while we talked about the beauty of the autumn leaves. I thought it was wonderful to go to such a place, see the same scenery as someone else, and take it slow while enjoying coffee and tea snacks.
Empathizing with each other, we became so absorbed in our conversation that we ended up staying too long and arrived a little late for the scheduled lecture.
However, even though it was only for a few dozen minutes, that moment where I forgot the time and focused on the present became a very memorable experience.
Let's live stylishly again today!!
