A Wonderful Time

The other day, I went to the JAZZ CAFE "hada himuro" in my hometown of Hiraizumi.

From the owner, who is a classmate of mine,

I was invited with the news that jazz guitarist "Yoshitaka Kanno" would be visiting ☺️

It has been a year and a half since I started playing the guitar 🎸 for the first time in 50 years... 🙄

I really, really wanted to hear his authentic tone 🎸 live... 🎵

At the entrance of the shop, there is an antique treadle sewing machine and hanging from this sewing machine is the shop's
"Open" sign.

I had asked in advance if I could take a picture of this "antique sewing machine" on this day.
I had the idea that it might be interesting to take photos with my kimono remakes 👘 or dyed clothes displayed behind it ☺️

They kindly agreed, and the owner and his son moved the sewing machine for me, so I snapped a photo with the kimono I brought along 😅

Yoshitaka Kanno arrived around 1:00 PM.
When I asked if he could play a song, he actually performed a session of 3 to 4 songs.

I also got to take a two-shot photo with the handsome younger guitarist 🎸💕

They also have such precious items here.

These Asahi Graph magazines were purchased by my junior high school art teacher (the owner's father was my junior high art teacher). Between the pages, there were delivery slips... for 80 yen or 100 yen...

I was surprised that they had been carefully preserved until now.

The owner said he "just didn't throw them away," but it felt just like the library from my junior high or high school days, and it brought back such fond memories.

I thought it would be nice to leisurely go see Asahi Graph☺️

I recommend this to those of you looking for a sense of Showa-era nostalgia☺️
