After obtaining a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Institute of Science Tokyo), he worked in media art, virtual set development for broadcasting, as a science communicator at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, as a university faculty member, and in VTuber/metaverse research and development. He is currently CEO of AICU Inc. and Representative Director of AICU Japan Inc. He also serves as a specially appointed professor at Digital Hollywood University Graduate School.
