[PONko2, et, Celebration?]
PONko2 is a childcare worker.
Just a regular childcare worker.
And a father to a 6th grader and a 4th grader in elementary school.
Today, I am spending my second day of unemployment before starting a new job.
Wait, I was already working at my new workplace!
This is an article I forgot to post!
On the day I resigned, they held a celebration for me.
It's not an opportunity that comes around often, so I'm writing an article about it.
Please feel free to read it if you are interested.
The Day of Resignation
On this day, there was heavy snow in Sapporo.
I spent an hour shoveling snow in the workplace parking lot from the morning. Since it had been snowing heavily for days, there was nowhere to put the snow. This was also a real nuisance.
And, after my physical strength was significantly drained, I was asked to play the role of the "demon" for child development support, so I became a black demon.
I ended up giving it my all, despite my age, so I was exhausted.
I had to shovel snow in the afternoon, too.
I didn't get to work quietly on my last day.
A Resignation Celebration?
Since it wasn't a retirement due to age, don't you think it's a bit strange to call it a "resignation celebration"?
When I clocked out, the staff gave me a bouquet of flowers and a message.
I don't know if I was well-liked or not, but since they gave me something even if it was just a social formality, I think I didn't do anything too bad.
We each exchanged a few words, and although they spoke very sadly, as for me, PONko2, who was resigning, I had moved my body by shoveling snow and playing the demon,
so I felt refreshed and couldn't help but turn it into a laugh.
With that, when I was about to head home, my WIFE told me to email her when I got on the subway.
When I sent the email and arrived home...
What my second son handed me
He handed me a menu like the one in the photo.
PONko2's favorite food is a McDonald's double cheeseburger. However, McDonald's is something you eat for lunch, right?
PONko2 doesn't eat lunch, so inevitably, I can't eat it.

So, my WIFE and my two sons consulted and prepared it for me.
And they told me to choose the ingredients for the hamburger. I wondered, "Can you really customize it like that?" but I ordered anyway.
It's ready!
After waiting about 5 minutes, they brought it to me.
I thought the real thing was coming, but it was a surprise homemade one!
It seems they had made the patties and prepared the other ingredients in advance.
Tears of joy!!!
indeed.

They said they brought the fry container home after eating lunch.
It certainly wasn't piping hot, and the buns were a bit hard. But it was delicious!
On this day, all four of us had hamburgers for dinner.
Making it yourself and eating it yourself. This might also be a form of food education.
Hamburgers for dinner are nice once in a while.
Come to think of it, in the PONko2 household, on birthdays, we make the menu whatever we like. There have been times when it was "udon" even though it was a birthday.
But that's fine, isn't it?
I think it's good to enjoy that very thing without being bound by general values.
I think that's probably what connected to this idea.
By the way, when I asked about paying the bill...
My second son said, "It wouldn't be exciting if there were no prices on the menu, right?"
I was spared from paying.
