1. Self-Introduction

Hello! My name is Kazufumi Negishi, and I am an intern on the PLAS event team! In the past, I have done various things, including working as a taxi driver, a web writer, and a community manager for Web3 projects. I am a father of one, and my strong point is my agility!

2. How I found out about PLAS

While I was active in the Web3 field, my wife happened to meet Rui Kadota, the representative of PLAS, and that is how I encountered PLAS! Later, I learned about their intern recruitment, and thanks to a fortunate connection, I was able to start working with them.

3. Why intern at PLAS?

Since my daughter was born, I have spent my days being healed by the innocent smiles of children, but at the same time, I have had more opportunities to think about the gap between that and the fact that there are children in the world who are placed in difficult situations and are suffering.

The spirit of "Positive Living" that PLAS advocates matches my own way of thinking, which is that I want children to lead bright lives.

Even if I cannot do much, I wanted to help move the world in a better direction, even if just a little, through PLAS! Another reason is that the staff members are full of brightness and kindness, and I felt a sense of comfort like basking in the sun.

4. About my assigned tasks

My work is broadly divided into two parts. I help with events and public relations remotely, and I assist with charity auction tasks at the office!

I do a wide range of tasks, from setting up events and making announcements to creating eye-catching images and handling administrative work, and I am learning various things every day. For the charity auction work, I use my hobby of photography to take pictures of the items for auction with my own camera!

5. A final word

Everyone feels a little anxious at first.

However, at PLAS, they teach you the work carefully, and above all, thanks to the warm personalities of the staff, I was able to fit in in no time. You can increase the number of bright smiles on children's faces. If you do it, you can definitely be of help to someone. I hope you all have many such valuable experiences at PLAS.
